Stainless Steel vs Anodized Aluminium?

Im about to order a couple of tanks from IBtanked.com

They have end caps which you can choose from anodized aluminium and stainless steel, which one should i be picking? They are both the same price but im just wondering what the real difference is? Which one is higher quality?

Aluminum is light and durable . All anodizing does is add surface color and texture . If you try and polish it or brush it say good by to thr anodized color.

Stainless steel is practicaly indestructable but its heavy . It can be polished over and over again or brushed for whatever finnish u want

Bolth are great choises . I would go with the aluminum if the caps are for a carto tank to keep it light and just polish it to a mirror finish

Welcome to ECF , but I'm on the other side of this fence . I always pick SS over aluminum . Aluminum is too soft , scratches and dents too easily . I have dropped several of my SS devices , not even a scratch . So I opt for durability over lightness , anyday .
