Hey guys so some of you may have seen my other thread, thanks to you guys I've decided on the Vamo. Now I'm just trying to decide on the stainless steel or the chrome finish. A couple of you have said the stainless steel holds up better, my only question is how does the stainless steel look with the Kanger Protank? Is the color far off from the Protanks chrome? I know I'm being ...., I'm weird sometimes lol.

stainless steel - is a brushed finish which might be less slippery, so less chance of dropping
the chrome finish will show off fingerprints more readily and may dicolor from contact over time depending on how well it is coated.
I presume all these parts are electroplated rather than dipped so the tougher of the finishes or materials would be the stainless.

I have a black chrome one and love it BUT if I had to do it over again I would go ss...it is a finger print and scratch magnet
if you scratch stainless steel you can sand it out. chrome will just stay scratched.
Chrome and Polished SS APVs are fingerprint magnets. Personally I prefer the brushed steel look.
I too have the black chrome version. My friend however has the SS and like a previous poster said, If I could go back in time I would forsure get the SS.

Good buy man.. ss is the way to go... Last a lot longer based on the finish because once the chrome starts wearing, you end up spending more money on replacements or the next best thing
Certain mods do look nice in chrome, but I hate finger prints, so all my mods are stainless steel or colored. Don't worry about the chrome kanger pro tank. It looks good on all mods and finishes.
Um no I have the stainless steel one it is POLISHED stainless and is SUPER slippery. I had to wind rubber bands around mine to give me some grip.
I just got mine a couple of days ago, and looking at your pic and comparing to mine, yours is much more polished than mine. Mine is brushed and slightly dull - not slippery
SS Vamo looks and performs great with a Pro Tank or an AGA-T2. It is a little slippery to hold on to, so I might get a clear wrap to give it
some grip. Love the look of the SS
