Due to an unfortunate family loss durring Bruce's Inventory update last week I missed out on the fuse kits and battery springs. That being said I am in desperate need of a battery spring so I was wondering if anyone has found a reasonable stand in battery spring that is either easy to modify or will work without modification.

I melted all of the springs I have here and while I have managed to get by by bending them back out they are starting to get pretty out of shape and not working as well as I would like.

I know I can go springless but since I am stacking batts I orefer the added safety measure.

Thanks for any help.

Fright,
I see you already have some solutions here, but you can use a spring from a click pen.

Take a click pen spring, cut it in half. Take the two pieces and mesh them together, to make one shorter doubled spring.

I've done this for both the battery and the switch spring when necessary.

I hope this helps, good luck.
