Between the 1.8ohm, 2ohm & 2.4ohm, the lower the number the hotter the vape with more vapor, flavor and generally TH. Also the clearo life will be shorter. I use clearos on my eGo batteries. I find 1.8 ohms does not work well - too hot giving me dry burnt hits. I;ve found clearos are like that. I prefer 2 to 2.4 ohms.

hi guys,

sorry for noob question. I've been using the egoC and thinking to switch to clearomizer. which 1 should i get? i see there is like 1.8ohm, 2ohm, 2.4 and it goes higher. which 1 should i go for? my battery is not twist, just a regular which i think 3.7v

Standard egos are 3.3-3.4 volts. You would be fine using 2.4 ohms, but will probably find a warmer vape from lower ohms. The LR will drain your battery faster though.

Those are just preference numbers ... use whatever taste best to you.
Those numbers are pretty decent though when it comes to what the majority of people vape at.

That's why a vv mod is so useful. Alot of juices have their own sweet spot as well. I have a mild tobacco with a hint of wild cherry that only tastes good well below the voltage you would expect. 3.8 v with a 2.4 ohm coil in a clearo.

I have a noob question as well. Just ordered my first mods, two with VV. The tank carts I got are rated at 1.5 ohm, and are dual coil. So I guess what I'm unsure about is whether having dual coils will factor into the voltage question or if following the elementary expressions of Ohm's law is enough, taking the 1.5 ohm rating as the equivalent load impedance. The reason I ask is because I heard someone say that dual coils makes calculating the requisite voltage more complicated.
