standard vs refillable carts

What is the difference? I've been searching and can't find a good explanation of what the diff is. I have a Dura-C.

If you are talking about cartridges.. they are all refillable, some come with juice already in them, and some come empty. IMO its better to get the empty ones and fill with your own juice.

where as if your talking about cartomizers same deal applies. comapnys offer filled carts for ease of use but most times its not as cost effective or fun as filling them yourself. plus IMO the juice you can buy almost always taste better when using blanks.

Yes, any carts can re-filled and used again. As typocinnamongrl suggested you are probably talking about pre-filled vs blank? Yes it is always better to get blanks if you plan on filling them up with your own juice, unless you happen to have some of the same juice they came with.

I appreciate the answer, but are the refillable for a specific brand, I have a Dura C, better than the pre-filled ones?

From my understanding the "Dura-C" Is a 510 unit.. any 510 cart's will be compatible with it, prefilled or blank it doesnt matter, as long as they are made for the 510.

Sorry, I meant is a blank cart better for refilling than a pre-filled.

I think so. The problem with prefilled carts is if you dont like the initial flavor it can be hard to get out.. and you most likely will have to replace the stuffing. I would go with the blanks fill with juice you like Hope that helps

It depends. If you are going to refill a cart with a tobacco flavor then it doesn't really matter if it had a tobacco flavor in it first. But it's nice to have blanks for non-tobacco flavors.

With new stuffing, you can reuse a cart a long time,

And start buying/trying some different juices. The stuff that comes in prefilled carts for 2-piece ecigarettes is usually the Chinese 100% PG juice which can be a bit harsh on the tongue and mouth. PG lets through the largest amount of nicotine's harshness. Many US mixers make PG/VG blends - the VG smooths the vape and adds more visible vapor but also dulls the flavor/aroma and TH. I like 70pg/30vg or around there

I have been contemplating this issue as well, as I too am a recent convert (from analog to digital, that is). It seems reasonable that, if you are out to re-fill carts yourself, it would then be best to get blanks instead of re-filling the pre-fills that come with starter kits.

Well, having got my refillables, I can say the foam in them does vary in quality, but regardless they do seem to work better. I don't change flavors, so I don't have that problem.
