Ok, based on a very popular topic right now, I figure the corporate folks will likely drop in to check things out. ECF has a strong community, but what impact could it have on SB's bottom line? Lets find out. I hope this works, I cant find a "how to" on posting a poll.

You can choose more than one option. I'm a few drinks short of platinum, so I used the platinum option. Guesstimate as best you can.

Occasionally would be less than 3x a month.

I dont do it. My brother calls it Fourbucks. I thinkk thats clever. Also they french/dark roast all there blends so they all tast the same. All coffe tast the same if you roast the hell out of it so there is no point in selling diffrent blends. Good coffe is nuanced when roasted correctly a Tanzania is diffrent then Colombia. I go to dunn brothers They actualy roast in most stores so it smells awsome.

I can count on one hand the number of times I've been in a Starbucks. Found it to be overpriced for what you get and I wasn't a fan of seeing their logo branded on every flat surface in the store. I realize some like to be a part of that Starbux Culture; but I much prefer the smaller independant coffee houses for their originality and local flavor.

Used to be just about the only coffee house here in SA, but several independent ones have opened and are doing a better business. I don't know about else where but the the ones here in town close at 9:30pm, even the ones in the medical center. So when an independent one opened in there also they're open 24 hrs and gotten all the medical trade. The only time I'll drink starbux is if I see there bottled products in the check out line at Walmart.

While better than coffee from McDonalds, it still isn't very good. You really need to find freshly roasted beans between 5 and 15 days old and used within 15 minutes of grinding for a good cup (the rule of 15s -- green coffee beans are good for 15 months before it gets stale, roasted coffee beans are good for 15 days before it gets stale, and ground coffee is good for 15 minutes). There is much better coffee to be had, especially since Starbux went to super automatic machines (which can't compete with a good barrista).

not a fan of SB not only about vaping but their not supporters of our military

yep, we tried to do a bulk buy of some SB coffee last deployment, didn't request a price break or anything. We received a strongly worded letter on why they refused. You know, the type of letter someone will send from the other side of the world where they don't have to look you in the eyes. Green bean coffee all the way now.

should add that it was just one local shop, but it was enough to sour me for good on them.
