Has anyone tried to put a stardust core in a dcc tank? I was looking at the 3.5 mil tanks and it looks like I might be able to put the stardust base in the bottom of the dcc tank. I was thinking if I get the stardust core in the dcc tank and cut the tank to size I could use the drip tip to seal the top similar to the way the stardust seals in the top.

I wanted to get a stardust so I could easily re-wick it, but I cant get the tank part off without breaking it. I've tried pulling and the brass pipe method, but I still cant get it off.
