Vision v2 clearomizer , started using it on friday, the flavors i have used in it was dk-tab, vanilla coke, french vanilla coffe, chocolate cream , and caramel cappuccino . Well today when i went to refill it i noticed a little liquid on the connection for my battery (kgo). looking at the bottom of the clearomizer it looks as if it was leaking around the battery connection or air vent . it does not look as if the plastic is cracked or leaking anywhere around where the plastic and metal join. Is this common, or is it something i was doing wrong, did wrong ? Also if i held it to horizontal when hitting it sometimes i would get juice in the mouth. And it also appears that the metal ring around the top was starting to separate from the plastic. for $5 i hope i get more than a couple days out of these dam things. So should I just trash this one or should i be able to keep using it ?

From my experience with the stardust leaking down the center post, it has been caused by that silicon cap that the drip tip seats on when screwed in. It may have loosened up a bit and allowed too much liquid into the coil area and thus leaking down to the bottom. I have also seen that same cap shift when the drip tip gets screwed down on it and it ends up not making a complete seal and some leakage occurs. Give it a good look over with the tip on and off and check for a good seal, also take a paperclip or toothpick and check the silicon cap to see if it is wiggling or not seated correctly.

The CE4/Stardust has two potential spots for leaking to occur. One is from the mouth piece seal located right at the top of the element inside the tank and also at the little connection for the atomizer to receive power from the battery. I have noticed that the liquid you are describing pooling up between the atty and the battery is a very common issue with the stardust and also atomizers in general but is not major unless its over flowing out of the air passages. What I do personally with mine is, take a tissue about once a day and clean that liquid out in that area then I have no issues, as far as the tip leaking fluid into your mouth un screw the tip and dry the rubber seal where the tip is meant to seal and tighten the tip back on and that should solve your problem. Also when filling the stardust note that it is very important to not get any liquid in the center hole when filling because that will also cause liquid to get in your mouth and seem like a seal issue. Now if the mouth piece still leaks liquid then you will have to macgyver a way to make the tip seal sit a little higher in order to get a good tight seal. Hope this helps you.

Wow I have been thinking this and all has been answered for me, thanks for asking this.

So am I right in thinking a little liq on the batt won't damage it? That's my main concern other than the juice waste!!

A little bit should be no problem as the battery is sealed. Just take a look at it when you do a fill and wipe it out with a q-tip.

There are 3 O- rings" on the Vison- one on the drip tip, one on the head and one on the base. If any of these rings are not properly in place leaks will happen. Reasons for leaking- overfilling, O Rings are not in right or chain vaping which produces condensation in the airway and drips on to battery.

hey, i am still noticing the leaking onto the battery threads issue w/ my stardust after following through these steps to make sure that the white cap is in place.

i was just wondering if the white O-ring on the drip tip should be INSIDE the tank up against the white cap... or should the white O-ring be on the drip tip stem up against the metal of the top threading. Does that question make sense?

til i figure out this issue, i think i'm just stuck using my one mini vivi nova tank until i can stop the leaking onto the battery. don't want to risk damaging the battery w/ liquid in there.

If it is leaking where the battery connection is this is an easy fix, and a common one. Look at the bottom of the stardust where it contacts with the battery, you will see a center post terminal, using twezzers or very small needle nose pliers wiggle the post very slight an pull it out just a little, but not too much. This will solve the leaking issue, and allow the stardust to vent/draw a little easier.
