Let me just say that I love these forums. The first vaping supplies I ever bought was the kGO starter kit from Hoosier based on the help of ECF.
I loved it absolutely from the start. Then I got to mesing around, tried tanks, swapping juices all kinds of things and stuff became such a hassle that I'm back on analogs. The tanks are all a pain to draw on now. They're gunked up or somethings.

I hate being back on analogs because I loved vaping but it seems like all my cartos are trashed from using different juices in them.
I started with the kGO and Boge LRs and loved it but I don't like having to refill the Boges so oftem So my question is... Or I guess I should say my questions are...

If you could only vape one set up what would it be?

If you could only vape on a kGO battery what setup would you use? Should I stick with the kGO?

What is the most hassle free vaping experience you can recommend? I've got a stressful job and I don't want to add stress.

What are some of the best juices you've had? Tobacco and non?

Best cartos?

If you could only vape one set up what would it be?

mini lavatube with tank/carto is my daily use device. I also carry an ego battery with a couple of filled tanks so i can change flavors at will.

If you could only vape on a kGO battery what setup would you use? Should I stick with the kGO?

I have never used a kgo but it is akin to the ego which I like very well. Have you changed out the cartomizers in your tank? Mine only last me a 7-10 days before they start becoming tasteless and loss of vapor.

What is the most hassle free vaping experience you can recommend? I've got a stressful job and I don't want to add stress.

Get a big battery device such as lavatube for variable voltage or bolt, prodigy, ego power, etc for 3.7 vaping similar to your kgo. This will ensure you all day vaping without running out of battery power. I find that if I have 3 filled tanks with me at all times I can change flavors when my tastebuds tire of the same flavors so it is a must for me. Oftentimes I will carry a couple of filled ego visions/stardust cartomizers also.

What are some of the best juices you've had? Tobacco and non?

My favorite go to juice is Churro from altcig.com, it is a sweet dessert vape with a great baked good flavor with nice cinnamon undertones. Taste is very subjective as I mostly vape sweet juices. I have not found a tobacco juice I enjoy.

Best cartos?

I use Boge cartos in different resistance for different devices. I have tried the ressurectors from crystal clear vaping and liked them as well, especially in tanks.

I hope that this information will help you. I also first tried vaping in 2009 only to go back to analogs with a few weeks because I was tired of all the preparation involved in vaping. I will say that the products available now are dramatically improved. I smoked my last analog 2/18/12 and have not looked back. Best of Luck.

If you could only vape one setup what would it be?

Right now, one of my Provaris with a a 3ohm XL Boge with or without a tank, or SR 801 Fusion.

If you could only vape on a kGO battery what setup would you use? Should I stick with the kGO?

A cartos would be what I used on my Ego, it was simple, easy, and hassle free, just fill it and go. As for whether or not you should stick with a Kgo, if you are content with it, then find a setup that works with it. If you aren't content, then look at your budget and do some study, there are a lot of options, finding one that suits you may require some study on your part. But if you are content with your Kgo, then don't get sucked in before its your time to move up in device, don't muddy the waters for yourself anymore than you have to.

Again, you will have to answer that for yourself. Would you be stressed by recharging batts for a big batt mod? If so a big batt mod is not for you. If not, then perhaps.

Often times we as vapers like to become walking billboards for our fav device, I'm a big fan of the Provari, but I don't want you to go into debt to get one neither, I also would rather you not bite off more than you can chew until its the proper time and turn on vaping for good. The same is true with tanks, its the trend right now, but to me it sounds like you are having cartos issues, so maybe you just need new cartos, maybe tanks aren't for you.

As for juice, in a tank, I find for me thinner, lighter juices work best, it seems like every time I try a thick juice I end up either flooding the cartos, or the whole is too small, there is little room for error with a tank. When it works right, its the best vape out there, when its not right, its maddening. When i have a thicker heavier juice I just use it in a cartos. Maybe an Atty. I hope this helps, I couldn't help but feel your pain, believe me when i say this, we've all been in your shoes.

Hassle free vaping is a REO bottom feeder with a good atty of your choice. Fill the bottle, a spare battery your pocket, and go. Inexpensive batteries. Only maintenance is blowing out and occasionally soaking the atty.

Variable voltage versions are coming out in the next few months, but if you can't wait I have been happy with my Grand for a year. It's indestructible. You can vape 3.7, 5V, 6V by changing batteries. I like my mini almost as much, but just 3.7.

reosmods.com and check out their forum here on ECF if you have any questions.

BackwoodsBrew.net is my favorite tobacco vendor. Personal favorite is Casablanca, but all his tobaccos have their fans.

I am really loving my vision clearomizers. GV VISION ExTReMe : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

They have many sizes and ohm ranges, but I am finding that I like the 1.5 ml (regular) best. I also get the highest ohms, since I have a VV infinity pro. The smaller ones get too hot for me, and the larger ones are a bit too airy, but YMMV of course. They can be a tiny bit finicky- have to blow juice out of the tube, have to adjust the cup seal- but they are the best option that I have found.

I also don't think any vape setup is going to be completely hassle free. I guess cartos can be if you don't chain vape, but I do so I got tired of constantly dripping a few drops every 10 minutes. I haven't tried the tank route, but I like to change juices a lot so I didn't feel like it was the best option.

This is not the advice that you asked for, but I want to throw it in anyway. When I started vaping I did it on a whim and I did not commit 100% to it. I decided I wanted to try it and if I wanted to smoke, I would smoke. I got my pv 12/16/11 and I have bought 10 packs of analogs since then, the last 3 in the last week or so of Feb while I was down to one ego battery and waiting on my mod to be made and delivered. I have still smoked a few analogs since (maybe 2 or 3), but I am getting closer. I have tried countless times and countless ways to quit, and I have never been this confident that I will succeed. This approach is not for everyone- no one approach is- but with your high stress level it may be for you. Vaping doesn't have to be an all or nothing thing. Vape when you can, smoke if you need to or when your equipment is giving you fits, and I'm sure you will soon find you are off the analogs completely. HTH.

P.S.- +1 on keeping your Kgo for now. I agree you seem to be satisified with that, you just need to figure out what to use on it that works for you. You have plenty of time to get bitten by the mod bug later. :p

The battery doesn't seem to be a problem. It's the cartos and juice. Well, welcome to the club.

Luckily cartomizers are designed to be disposable. Get yourself an atty (And keep it clean!) to test flavors with so you don't waste a carto. Then use cartos for juices that you know you like. Just refill until they start to taste bad. Then throw them away.

I've finally found several that I like. The only one I've ever used exclusively was a SR 306 on an Ego battery. Used that for about 6 months. Until I went through a bad spell of getting bad atties (Spongy or too hot, depending on the vendor). I got so fed up and desperate that I started experimenting and found a number of things that work for me.

Never tried a KGO.

The one I suggested above seems the simplest and easiest.

The ones I like best I DIY. Only way to find out is to try for yourself.

For 808, Volt or Bloog. For 510, I hear Boge. But, I'm not sure yet.

Good luck, DamagePlan. Let us know how it goes.

My advice for a small upgrade to your current setup is try Vision Ego Clearomizers. It's an atomizer and tank in one, has no filler in it, super easy to fill (just screw off the top and squirt the juice down the side, straight from the bottle), rinse them in hot water every couple of days and set them on a paper towel to dry. Buy several so you have a couple of spares. They don't last forever but I have had mine for several weeks and all of them still work great, so I'm pretty happy at around $5 each.

All you need is your battery and a clearomizer. Super simple.

Juices are very subjective...that's another story altogether. My favorite juice may not be yours! That said, my favorite right now is Dragon's Blood from EC Blends. Very light, fruity non-tobacco. It's a mild dragon fruit flavor.

I agree that the KGO with the Vision/Stardust/ETurbo option is super effective and pretty much fiddle free. I'm 25 days without analogs now....and have tried several options. I use the ETurbo E Turbo Atomizer mostly. I think they taste better than regular cartos, and are the easiest way to go....looks cool too.

If you could only vape one set up what would it be?

REO Grand or Mini +AW IMR 18650 and 14500 batteries + HH357 @1.5 OHM + Salem juice = Vaping Bliss for me :thumb:

----------------------------------------

If you could only vape on a kGO battery what setup would you use? Should I stick with the kGO?

N/A

----------------------------------------

What is the most hassle free vaping experience you can recommend? I've got a stressful job and I don't want to add stress.

I use a REO - after having my fill of the inconvenience of dripping and cleaning and wiping I found the REO -- I purchased a REO mini to fill the bottle, charge a battery, and have 3 to 4 hours of stress free vaping on a mini, or 6 to 7 hours of stress free vaping on my REO Grand - It's been over a year, my REOs looks new, and using a bottom feeding unit is just second nature to me now. I use an HH357 atty for plumes of vapor and flavor -- it's my slice of vaping heaven :)

---------------------------------------

What are some of the best juices you've had? Tobacco and non?

The best juice I've had is the one that reminds me the most of the flavor of the analogs I used to smoke... Salem by smokeforpennys - it's my all day vape. Once in a while I might have a few drops of watermelon or spearmint or orange...yum :)

--------------------------------------

Best cartos?
I'm an HH357 atty user, but when I used cartos for vaping at 5v, I went with Boge SR...

-------------------------------------

DamagePlan, I hope you will come back to vaping, there are rainbows and sunshine here, everyone smells good, vapor dissipates so quickly you can stealth vape at work, no more going to smoky lounges, or outdoors where people may give you that fake you're bothering me cough, or look at you sideways... no filthy ashtrays to put out your cigarettes or carrying tons of gum or mints or lotions or handsoaps for attempts to get the smell off of you... vaping is less stressful and less harmful.... I hope you get back on the vaping horse soon! ;)

So the vision / Stardust things is like a tank but just juice and wick? No cart inside? No filler? That sounds nice are there different types/brands?

YES! Juice, wick and built in atomizer. No cart, no filler. Squirt the juice in, screw onto battery and go.

The Vision Ego Clearomizer, Stardust, and Eturbo Atomizer all seem to be different names for the same thing.

I don't know about all your questions, but with a Kgo I drip. I drip it sloppy too. I get about 20 minutes of vaping out of each drip at 24-36 mg VG with 3-5 drops. I get juice all over my hands. I love it. I like the HH357 the best, but the 2.0 ohm attys that come with the Kgo kit never seem to flood, they just leak and gurgle and work. I like this. My hands always stink and I can't ever rub my eyes. Worth it. I'm a nic junkie.

Cartos taste bad to me. They might be good for you though.

I will make it real easy and fairly cheap for u :)

Get yourself a variable voltage box mod from Madvapes, and pick up some of their xxl clear cartos, either the ones with the round tip or the ones without are the ego type with the skirt. Altho if u buy that one be sure to pick up an adapter. Grab some aw imr 14500s, and a charger

Then get some liquids from Altcig. This set up should get u started for under $100

For me this is the easiest set up, with the smallest fiddle factor. Hth good luck to u!! :)
