CE's are crap. Always been crap. If all we had to chose from were those things, I would never have quit smoking.

Where can I get those Ameican made Ego's ? Curious.

CE's served their purpose for me. They got me off analogs for the first month I vaped. Once I discovered the Kanger T3, CE's were recognized as what they are. A cheap device with an almost non existent learning curve. In other words, a device for noobs to get them going.

For the poster with the bar. I'm afraid you've been misinformed or simply assumed some things that just aren't correct. There are no American made eGo batteries or clearos. They're all mass produced in China. Not to offend, but PLEASE do some more research regarding what you're selling so that you don't continue to be one of the big things that's wrong with some vendors. btw, it's great that you're offering what you do for your customers AND that they enjoy it.

For the OP. Knockoffs? Good luck getting a name brand eGo style battery that outperforms and outlasts a "knockoff". It's a crap shoot IMHO. If you want a fixed voltage eGo type find the best price for the mah rating you want from the list of approved vendors provided earlier in the thread. Same if you want a variable voltage eGo type battery.

EDIT: Now that I've read the entire thread.

OP: Out of the millions of eGo style batteries in use the reports of exploding batteries can be counted on both hands and it's questionable whether or not user error was the cause. ANY device that employs Li Ion batteries runs the risk of catastrophic failure including cell phones, laptops and flashlights. The key is to minimize that risk by using a wall charger adapter, NOT using the usb port in your computer OR in a car cigarette lighter outlet. Of the current THREE stories in the news regarding eGo type batteries going thermal one was using a computer usb port, one was using a car charger/usb adapter and one was left unattended in a closed car during hot weather.

I have the Kanger EVOD starter kit and one is leaking like crazy out the breather holes. Anyone know where I can get the small nylon or Teflon seals to stop this?

First check that the atomizer head is screwed into the base all the way as if it's loose it could cause a leak. Also take a close look at the wicks. You should not see any gaps between the metal and the wicking material. Of all else fails you can always replace the atomizer head with a new one.

Right on Rasmith, I checked and the seal is a nylon or Teflon 'cap' that clamps down on the wick. (Kanger/EVOD)_ I put a new coil in tonight and used a pair of needle nose pliers to tighten the new coil and then removed the wick cap to get rid of one of the wicks. The supplied wicks are too thick and will not allow my Johnson Creed to flow to the coil. Put it all back together and flooded the battery and wasted half a tank of JC Original:laugh: Took it apart and found the coil now loose. Gonna get one of those tiny channel locks for use on my ecig stuff. Needle nose suck. After the troubleshoot it works like a charm. Vape heaven. Now since I bought some hemp wick and 32g Kanthal will try building my own wicks. Forum says you have to boil the wick first so will have to review that again.
