You can get it in the pharmacy usually. Ask the pharmacist. My local walmart usually has it, but sometimes they are out.

If you put it in the tank with your current juice, it might not get mixed very well. Maybe if you swirl it quite a bit and don't get the tank too full you might be able to mix it up well enough. Maybe in that case, just try adding a few drops at a time (swirling well after adding) and see if it progressively makes the throat hit smoother. I was sort of hesitant to recommend this, as it can be kind of involved, but you seem like you are anxious to get something you can vape.

That's what I figured... its a way that he's allowing me to not have to go outside to vape and a happy compromise. Once we are more familiar with vaping his feelings may change as to just staying in the bathroom to vape.

In the oilpatch, it usually takes a couple days on a new rig to get "established". The other people that walk in my trailer are always asking about my "chemistry set" or asking if I have "the good stuff" in my tank. It's actually more fun when someone is asking questions, but I can see where it would get old quickly for some folks. I've only run into one guy out here that really didn't want to be around it, so I would go in the other room when he was about. I try to be positive so that nobody goes running off to the bosses to figure out a way to ban them at work, cause you know, big corps like to ban stuff.

What I like is still changing, a lot. In 2.5 months I have been through some things I had not read and I thought was weird, but does follow others in the sense that at first you have to adjust a lot.

After the first week or so I was vaping at 8-9 watts. Could not get a decent throat hit at 18mg nic. About one month into it I got up one morning and that was REALLY HOT! Down to 4-6 watts and stayed there, same juices. But 18mg is now too harsh, so same mix and same juice at 12mg for now.

When I do crave the throat hit these days I direct inhale a few times, that will do it.

For best results, allow Mtbakervaper juice to steep as long as possible. I find that their flavors improve a lot by just letting them sit for a bit.

I was thinking maybe having hubby stop on his way home by one of the local smoke shops and picking up some juice they offer, the local head shop has I think two different nic containing brands for $12/30ml... wary about quality some but then if we have some of that we can allow our new juices to steep for a bit before using them all up.

I rarely half ... stuff and fully intend on diving into this hobby with earnest... well as much as my wallet will allow me anyway. I'm super excited about us quitting smoking, it means a lot to me. I don't mind sealing with involved things, I already fully intend on rebuilding my coils for a mini PT2 thats on the way after I buy a set of coils.

Can't agree with this more. This is why I always have a seperate "day vape" and "night vape" clearos ready to go. I have vaping mood swings.

LOL, awesome! I'm sure I will be having more conversations with you in the future. Too bad you don't live closer or we could have a vape geek out party. ;)

It's nice that your husband is doing this with you. My husband is not a smoker, so he doesn't really have much idea what all I'm doing. He's glad I quit smoking though.

LOL! Never heard it put that way but that is what it is. Like others I am already thinking about the next piece of hardware but for now I keep 4 PT2's handy with different flavors in them.

My goal was to quit smoking by the time I turned 30, its around the corner. My husband made it pretty clear he didn't have an interest in quitting smoking... and I honestly don't think I'd be able to quit with him still smoking (we've NEVER smoked in our home, even before our son was a consideration). I feel vaping is a good compromise for us and am really happy that he's on board so much with it. :)

Maybe instead of just jumping into ordering more juice today I'll just stop by Walmart after work and pick up some VG. Typically what department is it sold in? Can I just add some VG to the current tank I have going?

It should be in First Aid Section near the Isopropyl and Witch Hazel. It's known as Glycerin USP.

I see you received the info you need, but just to back it up. I'm on my 3rd day vaping. I bought two 18mg tobacco flavors, one is 65/35 and the other is less I'm sure. I can tell a big difference in the morning. If I go with the one that is more likely a 25/75 or something close to that, I hack and cough. If I switch over to the 65/35, it's very smooth and makes a world of difference. I'm sure the VG will make a huge difference. Good luck!

Hubby got out of work early today and stopped by a new smoke shop on the way home... Apparently they have a really nice little selection of vaporizers, a small selection of juices and the owner is in process of setting up with Halo to be a distributor, which would be awesome not having to buy coils online for hubby's Tritons.

I'm happy to report that by the end of my day #2 I was successfully vaping without coughing unless I pushed my luck... Today is even better. Yesterday morning I really wasn't digging this Triton, now I can't put it down.
Thank you again for everyone's advice and support!

Cool and glad you got it sorted. Thanks also for posting back as you'd be surprised at how many are having the same issue and are following this thread. You're already PIF

Well I was VERY frustrated yesterday morning, and wondering if I was crazy for dropping the money in the last week that I have into Vaping... A Halo Triton starter kit and extra pack of coils, currently have 15 5ml samples coming from ECBlends (10 of which will be here today!), my $40 PV (be here tomorrow! though the damn charger looks like it'll be a few more days). Its not like we are made of money so it was a lot to us. The reality of it is that my ultimate goal is for us to give up analogs. Yesterday I wasn't so sure we'd be able to do it... Today I'm certain we CAN and WILL do this.
Plus it was really sweet last night, usually after dinner we put on a show for our son and go smoke a cigarette outside. Once thats done we do our own thing... Last night hubby and I sat at the kitchen table together drinking an after dinner cup of tea and vaping. We talked and just hung out together. I really feel that vaping is something that has given us something else in common that we can share together and that's pretty damn great. :)

Glad to hear you are doing better today. I was in EXACTLY your same shoes last week with the coughing. I have switched to much more VG and have some 100% VG on order and now things are so much better! I got a bottle of glycerin in the first aid department at Walmart and diluted my liquid with that. Best three bucks I have spent so far! Like you, I was not a heavy smoker, so remember to PUT IT DOWN once in a while or you WILL get your mouth and tongue sore until you find the right PG/VG for you. You are SOOOO going to enjoy saving money, smelling better, tasting things again, and not smoking OUTSIDE!!!! Total game changer. Glad you have found this group, if you or hubby has any trouble, come back and ask. For sure someone else has been through it and can guide you along. Welcome!
