Starting smoking ecigs...

Hi all,

I'm from UK and actually smoked for about 12 years, then quit about 7 years ago! But the other day one of my friends was smoking an electronic cigarette and I had a few puffs. Now i'm thinking of getting one myself..

What's are your expert suggestion on getting started on ecigs etc.. something basic..

Welcome to the Forum! I would consider an MVP2 with a mini nautilus a very good beginner setup, both price-wise and because you shouldn't outgrow it in a week. If you don't have an aversion to box mods, I think it's a good choice. YMMV

You can get e-cigs in HK but Nicotine liquid is not exactly legal to buy.

I was searched at customs last week and was let through because I had a limited supply for personal use, and a letter from my doctor.

There are shops in Wan Chai, I tried to get to visit one, but there was a small problem with protests..

If you have time (you can wait) you could probably buy off FASTTECH. Fasttech are registered in HK, but there's no shop, just an office address. I can't see shipping would take long... just find out more about the laws regarding nicotine liquid. I vaped openly on the streets last week, nobody took any notice at all.

Yes - good point. This would solve the nicotine liquid buying 'problem' as well.

I agree with this. Seven years is a good show. ce4 ego and equivalent kanger models are a good starting point I think.

Bit of an FYI, you dont 'smoke" e-cigs as nothing inside combusts or produces smoke.

Welcome to ECF! I would say 0nic for sure. You have gone this long without it, why start it up again. I think an MVP2 would be a great mod to start out with. I use a Silver Bullet, nothing special.
