I prefer tanks because I deliver pizza at night as a 2nd job. So I'm in the car a lot. I've been usinf the orchid v3 for a while and just recently started using the 4. The problem I'm having, described below, seems to happen more with the bigger 4 and sometimes with my fogger or the smaller v3.
If anyone out there had a lot of experience with these type of full holes I thought maybe you've been through the trial and error and may provide some insight.
Sometimes when I fill from the bottom it seems like I can't get juice to go in. Like there's almost a vacuum or something that's like forcing it out? It's hard to explain. But I'm sure someone that has messed with them a lot may know what I'm talking about? I hope!

Fill your orchids from the top. Cover the airholes and fill. Get the top cap started, turn it upside down, uncover the airholes and tighten the cap. Holding it upside down, blow through the drip tip to clear the air channels and you're done. I've yet to remove the fill screw on any of my orchids.

I'm experimenting with needle bottles and syringes right now. Having much better luck, but still nowhere near perfect.

One question I have about the top fill method, do you actually have the top cap completely off? Reason read that people unscrew and crack just enough to stick a needle or tip in? Which doesn't make much sense, imo. Open is open.

Again, I appreciate all the info very much.

I can't speak to the particular devices you listed but my Lemos are bottom fill and I did have a few issues until I began filling with a blunt needle tipped bottle or syringe. Using max VG, like I prefer, takes some pretty good squeezing on the bottle (to force the thick VG through the needle) but it definitely works; and it eliminates the problems associated with forcing air pressure through the fill hole. On my Lemo (and from what I understand, most kayfun-style-ish devices), forcing juice and air through the bottom fill hole can actually push the wick out of the way of the juice channels, leading to leaking and gurgling.

You can get the needle tipped caps or bottle from lots of juice suppliers for anywhere from $00.75 to a couple dollars; and they're available with a little rubber cover that goes over the blunt needle tip to keep the bottle sealed, and it's attached by a leash. Those caps are pretty universal an you can just move one around, from bottle to bottle. Hope this helps.

I hear ya on the convenience of a tank at work! I run a large ranch and I just can't drip much during the course of my work day; but a great rebuildable tank, like my Eleaf Lemo is 'cat-daddy!' It's virtually leak free and the tank keeps me vaping all day long, with some pretty amazing cloud production and an UNREAL amount of flavor. Try those needle tips (syringe or bottle top) and I'll bet your problem will be solved.
