hrm, with my z2 switch I don't even notice the slight cant to the side like I do with my older switches. It doesn't strike me as an issue and i like the 'soft on' effect that the battery motion and switch design provide. I'm unlikely to change that.

With the switch specs I'm using when I push the button in pretty much any way, direction, or throw it fires everytime. I 'can' if I push it with two fingers and then, very carefully tweak it, get it to stop firing but it's so precariously on edge that it's difficult to make it 'not' fire.

well, I did make a small amount of progress on the custom drip tip from captivape for the CE stuff. It's going to be stainless but we're probably going to be heat treating it to give it a nice dark finish to go with the gunmetal stuff :) It'll be a straight, wide bore drip tip, approximately 30mm long. I'll hopefully have prototype pics soon. :)

Mornin monkeys. Just keeping the thread alive mostly ;) Based on my survey results it looks like the CE pack is going to be going fast so if you want the latest news on when it's hitting, be sure to subscribe here. I'll announce when the presale is going live 24 hours in advance across all my various networks, this being one of them obviously :)

silly update but I changed all my model numbers recently. Nothing dramatic but the new models are like this:

Link zBMSwitch = switch
Link CE zBMSwitch = CE Switch...
Link zBM65T, etc, etc.

The 510 head part number hasn't changed, the RDA part number hasn't changed. The "Kits" have changed to this format.

Link zLBMRDA, or Link zLBM510.

The BM stands for "Brass Monkey" which is what I'm calling the brass accented parts of my Link Line. I needed to differentiate for future parts since I'll be releasing non brass bits down the road and 'other' special tubes and accent pieces for the system.

Mornin monkeys, nothin new to report today. I'm hoping to get some good news tonight about the project.

For those actually interested in the pre-sale, this is how I plan to handle it.

I've got a network of sites that I generally release day to day info on. My blog is one of them (link on my store site). The day before the pre-sale I will post the exact time things will start going in stock. The item listings will be live on the page but "out of stock". I will, at the time indicated, start putting the items in stock.

The presale will occur exactly 2 weeks before the items will ship. This gives me enough turn around time to get all of the launch day materials prepped and ready. I will ship all presale items ON launch day. Launch day sales will ship the following day.

I'm going to be creating the product pages for all the Link items this weekend. I'll post updates here as they happen. Those product pages will be the primary place you'll see updates. Each page will have pictures as they become available, videos and "build" videos for the RDA. I will, of course, post updates here as I update the product pages.

I'm pretty excited to finally be getting my own products made and out the door, this is just the first, small step, towards a MUCH larger goal of having a full line of american made products available in store.

FYI: Small change to the Z2 replacement switches.

I"m not getting the aluminum now. Instead, they will be 100% stainless steel. All gold contacts and they're on the way.

If you're looking for a replacement switch or just a 'spare' switch for your Z2 these will match up nicely with the existing Zen line.

These are a limited run item, once the Link comes out I will not carry the all stainless switch again for a while. This is a special situation, specifically for the folks who already own Z2 devices and want an extra switch. So... stay tuned. If you, or some one you know needs/wants another switch for their sidewinder, or other Z2 compatible device, I'll have them very soon :)
