so,

I've been using my zmax for a few days exclusively now and I've gotta say... I'm pretty impressed. I put one of my panasonics in there the other day and put my standard boge carto in a tank on it, set it to the wattage that most closely resembles the vape I was getting on my 'other' device and just went to town.

The panny in the zmax lasted longer than an AW in my 'other' device, I'm not sure if that's a function of the mod, battery, or combination but I went almost 2 full days on the battery compared to the day an a half I'd get on my old set up. I know the panasonics are listed at a higher mAh but I never really trust mAh ratings on batteries until I've actually used them.

The vape has been very consistant right up until the battery was about to die. I did notice a bit of a drop off but as soon as I noticed it the mod told me it was time for a new battery, so that's a good thing imo.

I'm pretty impressed with it so far, I'm goign to put a video up 'soon' (maybe tomorrow) on the Zmax product page on my site with instructions and a proper review.

Also, with the latest changes to shipping, the Zmax qualifies for free shipping + theres still the 10% coupon code (CPTPLUME) for the next 29 days ;)

If you're looking for an advanced vaporizer, this thing is pretty freakin nice. I mean... it doesn't have a puff counter or anything but umm, yeah, still pretty nice ;)

I have yet to swap out the Panasonic battery. But that may because I won a second zmax on saturday

Also, I should stop being lazy and put some feedback up on your site.

I'd like to make a purchase from you guys (especially since you made your presence known on both here and the Reddit community!), specifically the Zmax as a backup to my Provari. However, I do not need the kit itself. Do you plan on offering the Zmax itself without a kit in the near future?

I will eventually put the zmax up by itself but I"ll be honest, the supplier's prices for me are extremely similar for just the zmax device so it's not going to be a whole lot cheaper. A couple batteries and a spare charger are never a bad thing ;)

It will probably be January before I put in another order for Zmaxs (unless I get a big run of sales in the next week) so it'll be late jan to early feb before I have them as singles.

Mornin monkeys. As always, orders from last night and before 230pm CST today will ship today. I am still on the hunt for new products to put up that people want, if something grabs your attention, feel free to suggest it. (unless it's the evic, I've already removed that from my potential list of products :p)

Lance,

Just got my order. Thanks for the quick shipping! The Vivi Nova's aren't authentic, they're knockoffs, and the cause of all of the negative posts about them over the last year or so. You might want to look into a different supplier. There's no metal nipple on the heads of the real VNs.

Also note please that the Novas you're selling are not the ones you are depicting in your site pictures.

that's news to me... care to elaborate? They have the air holes in the connector shaft, I've only ever seen the metal nipple/metal disk versions of vivi novas in the most recent batches (they have update them 3 times in the last few months) and the pictures are the product pictures 'from' my supplier.

Not calling you a liar, just asking for more info that you might have that I don't.

well... if they're fake, they're good fakes. customers have started contacting me. One told me they threw their cinnamon red hot in it and it's been in there a couple hours with no clouding of the tank, another is telling me his hits better than his 'old' vivis. So, either it's a new revision of the original or an improved fake ;) either way, unless people actually have an issue with the product I probably won't be changin my supplier. I don't really care much about brand loyalty when it comes to the chinese products.... they copy each other left and right, some of the copies are better than the originals (See the Sigelei Zmax vs smoktech zmax for a great example). Please, if you do have an issue with the items performance, let me know though! I will, without a doubt dump a supplier in lieu of a different 'version' of a product if it is what provides the best experience for my customers.

I'm here to keep ya vaping so... lemme know :)

Vision puts the word vision right on the box. They have never produced a nova with a metal nipple as far as I know. If you are getting heads from the same supplier, they will be incompatible with the actual vivis. Since I haven't tried it yet, I don't know what actual problems might arise, but the differences seem to be the method of developing a seal from the head to the tip/cap, there is no protective shield that keeps the coil from possibly shorting (good or bad depending on your view), and the protection on the bottom where the wire legs are is different. For all I know these may work better for people. I'll give it a try, but I don't think they will mix and match, so it's either these and their heads or real ones and their heads.

ok, here's what I got...

the mini vivis I hvae in stock have the same little 'cone' sticking out of the head, just like the replacement heads I have in stock. The extra heads that come with the vivi mini also have this little cone.

The regular vivi head does NOT have the little cone, nor do the heads that are in the box with it.

I just put one of the replacement heads I sell in my regular vivi nova. it fits fine, I don't seem to be getting any leaking when tipping it (hold any vivi upside down and it'll leak eventually), and it's wicking fine.

I appreciate your feedback and your follow up. Thank you very much, I'm not seeing an issue and I'm getting nothing but positive reports from folks so far but I will be keeping a keen eye on this and talking to my supplier tonight to try and drill some details out of them. Again, thank you very much.

Here's the box and the various parts. Normally the box would have red lines in the V of Vivi, and the Vision brand name included. The metal cone in the plastic nipple on the head + the ridge built into the underside of the cap make the seal, so these must be used together.

Here's a side by side of a Vision Vivi Nova 2.5 on the left, and the received version on the right. I didn't save my original box from the 2.5 version unfortunately to show any differences.

Here's the tanks, just to note the screen printing differences. They both seem to be made the same with the same material in general.

It appears that the heads should work with another Nova, as long as the top cap is used with it. I'll report back if I find different. The bottom post on the head is a little different, so there may be an issue there if interchanged. I'll also give the tank a try overall and see how it compares with the Vision 2.5 version I have. The price is certainly better !

Tried out some mix and match. The V 2.5 stem and this version's stem are different. This version is slightly taller. This version's stem combined with this version's head combined with a v 2.5 top cap seems to work ok and seal ok. This version's stem combined with a V 2.5 head and either top cap is a no-go, the sealing silicon gets too squished. The V 2.5 stem combined with a V 2.5 head and this version's top cap seems like it might work, but it is a little too squished. V 2.5 stem with this version's head and a V 2.5 top cap is a no-go... leaks galore. V 2.5 stem with this version's head and this version's cap seems to not leak though.

I'm not sure about why your regular vivi from my store has the nipple tops. Are you looking at the head that came in the box/vivi or at a replacement head? all my replacement heads appear to have the nipple top, but the vivi regular that I opened for testing/personal use does not have the little cone sticking out. I put one of the cone topped heads in it and it seems to work fine though.

I'll talk to the supplier, it seems my parts all work with my parts, but might not work with the 2.5 vivis. Is there any chance the heads we're using are 3.0s?

The cone heads came in the box with the Vivi. My understanding about the difference between calling a Nova a 2.5 or a 3.0 is a matter of preference of the vendor renaming them. I refer to it as a 2.5, which is just what GV calls it when they sell it. The ones I have are the latest available from Vision, which some call a 2.5, some call a version 3. Confusing, I know. In other news, the ego twist I got is awesome, and the rebuildable atty I can't wait to play with!

well, thank you very much for the feedback. Given all the stuff I sell works with all the other stuff I sell, I'll probably stick with em unless people start to find 'issues' with my products in particular. I'm sorry they're not completely compatible with the "proper" vision versions. I'm sure you can understand why it's hard to nail down products from china sometimes ;)

I'm pretty pleased with their performance so far, the twists are freakin great and the zmax is a dream for me with the aga-t on it. I have a hard time getting my coils consistantly the same resistance so a VW device with an RBA on it is just golden. It weighs like 20 pounds but I figure I can use it for self defense if I get jumped in Dallas ;)
