I'm all about form<function. While I like steampunk as an art, and the mods look neat, I would personally like to see some function with all that flash. If each part of a steampunk mod had an actual function, like gears for VV selection, levers for activation or pumping of sorts, an incandescent/vacuum 7-segment display would be awesome where feasible.
