Got bored, etched some copper sleaves for my liquinators. Going to make a brand new tank with these eventually. (poly carb innards, don't worry :p)

I'm toying with making tanks and mods with more of a cosmetic appeal than the stuff on the market currently.
my next project is an entire copper tube mod etched with some other steampunky flare to it. Then I'm gonna make some other themes for fun.

I would go for this before i would a wooden mod. Wood is pretty and all, but not something I want to carry around all day. Wood breaks, rots, cracks, all kinds of things. I don't think anybody would disagree that metal is more durable. Wood is pretty, for a bookshelf, for boats, cabinets, even chairs. But not really something I would carry into the office with me. Camping in the woods, sure! Makes ya look very rustic I guess. Just not my personal preference for a good mod.
