SteelJan videos is what got me into vaping, trying bottom feeders, and kept me going! This is not fair!

Just ignore the masses and do your thing Jan. show the no weakness and they will eventually get bored and move onto another victim. Or as my grandpa would say, if they are bothering me, then they are leaving others alone.

I have enjoyed watching your videos and learning from you, SteelJan. If you do stop posting your wonderfully educational videos forever, I will be very saddened by this and will miss you a great deal. Your videos make me think, they make me laugh, and they make me smile. You are a born teacher. To believe that you could/would leave the vaping community due to the words of some foolish people, is very distressing if you would consider how very many vapers there are out here who cherish and admire you - and we treasure you for your kindnesses to the vaping world as a whole. WE are the ones who you should think of when deciding how best to handle this situation. Please don't forget us, and the fact that we are here for you and that you matter a great deal to us. And sweetie, there are way, way more of us - than there are those other kind.

I 'get' the fact that there are those......'people', (it is difficult for me to consider ......s as people, but that is what they are - technically), out there who in the vocal minority who believe that their opinions matter more than anyone else and who behave, at their best, like a middle school brat when they post on the internet. Those types of people are what they have always been and will always be - cowards and bullies. Those people are incapable of disagreeing with someone in a rational; respectful manner. Instead, they make threats on a keyboard while hiding behind their anonymity. How adult of them. *rolls eyes* Yes, I know they can and do say hateful and hurtful things sometimes, but Jan, those ......s are a very, very tiny minority in this world.

The simple fact is that in the scheme of things, those sorts of people AND their opinions really matter very little in life and they are not worth paying the slightest bit of attention to, Jan. They are beneath contempt, and honest to goodness not worth a single moment of your time. Please do not allow them the power over you that you are now giving them by walking away from something that you so obviously love doing. Hold your head high and take back your power. Don't let them defeat you with their petty words and hateful comments.

Since I started vaping about a year ago and since I joined this community heavily back in september of last year, I've always felt a since of comradery. But learning about this filth makes me bow my head in shame! With out these videos and reviews I would have been lost in a world of garbage equipment and misguided beliefs. I'm sure we've all run across videos or reviews that we personally disagree with and done nothing more than proceed on to the next video. With every day that passes the behavior of the human race as a whole scares me more and more. The fact that some humans(not all) can become so ugly and so hurtful over something as insignificant as a video about an electronic cigarette scares the hell out of me! I wish jan the best and I commend each and every one of the people who have the courage to stand up, show their face, and share their opinions with the people who depend on it....... I APPRECIATE ALL OF YOU!!!

I see were this was going. people assumed she was talking about pbusardo. But there are about a half a dozen reviewers that use voltmeters of different types. Could she have not been referring to them? and if you consider pbusardo, may be he is right in stating that his equipment is accurate because he does use some pretty advanced hardware. and I'm sure everyone has seen videos of most reviewers testing volts on devices like the buzz pro and or provari, and when they brought these up to their maximum or minimum settings, all were different readings! Is it that these identical devices are producing different high and low settings? or can it be that the different metering devices are causing the difference? Personally I don't think anyone here is wrong.

Indeed.. he was simply responding with proof.. like any scientist/objective person would. If you take all the stupid comments away, I'm sure SteelJan would have examined the results of that video and proved it for herself etc..

I think average mental age is pretty high. I've viewed many threads here and it seems that most are kind and helpful. It's just a few bad seeds that are causing this drama.

And for the record,those ohm meters are tools,wethere they are accurate or not,they are just that...tools.

As long as the same tool is used in all representations,its deemed accurate,wether its calibrated or not

Same goes for a dyno sheet;if you use a few dynamometers to measure power output of an engine,its innacurate;if you use the same dyno to measure several engines,it is accurate.(at same temp,barometric pressure,etc in case a gearhead shows up!)

Well said Tiger. This whole thing just sickens me. Especially since I was just at Vapefest this weekend and saw a whole bunch of people coming together for something we all enjoy. Anyone who puts themselves out there for information, etc., in my book is above us all. They want to share with us, help us make more educated choices, and just being good to the rest of the community/world. I applaud all of you for doing so, and I, myself will NEVER make a rude comment to any of you, no matter how good/bad or right/wrong the video is. You take so much time from your life to share, and then to be spat upon for doing so - how low can people go. Well, I guess we have our answer. My deepest apologies for all the a-holes SteelJan. Twice now I have typed up a post to just reread it and cancel it out. My opinion of what happened this weekend doesn't quite square with the majority of posters. I'll just say that I enjoyed SJ's videos for the most part and I hope she finds time away from youtube and this mess to be healing.

Someone posted earlier asking who was doing this. I don't have that info and apparently the worse of it came thru private messages. There was a certain vendor participating in this mess. His comments were disturbing to say the least. I don't do business with him and will continue to got what I got elesewhere.
