Not at all. Steeping always seems to help so anything you can do to speed it up should help as well.

I've been steeping a couple of very stubborn bottles for a few weeks now. Would it be too late to try warm steeping them? I know they'll eventually pop, I just don't want to ruin them.

I am attempting the hott"ish" tap water trick. Have two 15ml bottles in a ziploc bag. Filled my bathroom sink half way with warm-hot water. Put the bag in the water, weighed down with a coffe mug, so they don't float (sampled both bottles earlier, so there is some air in them).

I'll just wait now, and see what happens.

Just to update the results of my experiment:

Worked. ;)

Worked way better than I thought it would. WOW. I'll be using this process in the future.

New to all this and just wondering, do prepared flavours have to be steeped?
Generally, yes. Some are good right when you get them, and change over time to even better, or sometimes (rarely) worse. It's always a good idea to steep. That doesn't mean you can't vape it while it's steeping though.

For example, there is a juice from heathersheavenlyvapes.com called Gandalf. It's great right out of the mailbox, so I'll vape it. But I steep it as well. After a week or so, it gets sweeter, and less "pipey". It becomes one of the best vapes out there.

Some juices really do HAVE to be vaped though. If you find it's too perfumey, then it needs to be steeped 100%.

Comes down to your own tastes. Sample it. If it's vapable, then vape it.

Please note,,it's not so much that I don't buy into steeping,,just that their are remedial things to do.....Steeping by itself is a process of deteriation,,sometimes for good sometimes for bad.....There are pro active actions that are often not employed and should be... Liquids seperate or were poorly mixed...Try putting 30ml in a 50 ml bottle and shaking it up really good for 30/60 secs before just letting it sit on a shelf....At this point it's worth a go and then if you want to try steeping at least air is dispersed threw out the liquid.....

I've put clear scotch tape over labels (if they aren't too big) to protect them when in the H20 bath. But if you have a bottle with a huge label, the tape "thing" isn't practical. Perhaps you could make your own label to apply after steeping and put it in place of the one that falls off. I understand it won't be the same as the original, but at least you will have a label to tell you what's in the bottle.

Thank God for all you pros. I am learning so much on this forum. SOme of it still sounds like greek to me....510s....808s....Is this the sequel for star wars? At any rate, thanks so much.

Vaping is an artful hobby to me. I love buying the latest & greatest hardware and juices to experiment with. Alot of people, like me, take vaping very seriously and invest too much money but man it's alot of fun. If you stick with it you'll know what I mean.
