( Note: I use a 510 with atty/cart and am not having any problems with any other juices) Okay, recently all of my "baked goods" have been tasting funky to me, except for Snickerdoodle. My waffle and S'more taste weird. I share these three on one atty, so at first I blamed the atty. I tried S'more and Waffle on separate attys but ran into the same funky taste. Maybe it's my tastebuds, but all of my other flavors taste fine.

My S'more was very cinnamon-y and strong, with a nice tone of marshmallow and chocolate. Now it's... a mix of the three, but it's not as yummy. It may just be my tastebuds, like I said before. Is it possible for a liquid to get WORSE by steeping? I never pictured myself asking this, since I steep to get a better taste.

As liquids steep and sometimes change that doesn't always mean the changes are better pleasing to your taste buds. I had a french toast that I thought was pretty good when I first got it. I don't like super sweet vapes. In the beginning I could taste the french toast and a little syrup. A few weeks later all I can taste is really sweet syrup and I completely lost the french toast taste so now its way too sweet for me. That doesn't mean someone else wouldn't be very happy with it after its steeped, just not me.

I've been having the same issue, but suspect that my taste buds are what's wacky. Yesterday it seemed like everything I vaped tasted bland. Today, most things are tasty again. Seems like since I quit analogs my taster is all over the place.
I have 3 bottles of Kona Cream because I just LOVED it - and now suddenly can't stand it. So, possibly there is nothing wrong with the juice...but with the juicee... I also cleaned all my attys thinking they were the problem - oh well. It's a learning adventure. Good Luck!

raynen, you may have hit the "flavor wall". A pretty common occurance apparently. I had this happen to me on 2 seperate occasions now. One was about 2 weeks into quitting smoking for vaping, I assumed it was because my taste buds were starting to work again and my flavor preferences were changing. Turns out its a pretty normal part of the process. The advice I got then and will give to you now is to make a radical change in flavors for a bit. Maybe an atomic cinnocide or somthing along those lines. A day or two vaping something "outside my comfort zone" and then a switch back to my normal flavors made those "normal flavors" taste right again.

hope that helps

It may be a mixture of all three of your replies (grandmato, techno, phorbin). My thoughts are not enough water, maybe too much coffee, and a taste bud wall of doom.

@Phorbin. I can't stand anything that tastes like Cinnamon as in "Big Red" or "Fireball" or anything like that. Long story. BUT I do use my Candy Cane to clear my palate.

...Hopefully this will blow over. :(

that might work....mint flavors like that work real well for me for rebooting the taste buds...basically i'm thinking any really strong flavor that is not a "normal" vape for you might do the trick....give it a shot

Okay, so I blew out the juice out of my atty to the point my atty was whistling  and dry burned it for a little bit, then I hooked it up to s'more and let it sit for about fifteen with a full cart. Either my tastebuds are back, or it just wasn't prepared correctly, or both. My PV definitely keeps me on my toes!

perhaps the only obvious disadvantage to vaping instead of smoking....maintenance....totally worth it though.

Yeah there was a point a few days ago, when my smoker friends just lit up and smoked, and there was me, fiddling with my stuff... I thought, "is this worth it?" ...Then inhaled some nice "Vampire Blood - Rayne" from Gourmet Vapor, and said, "Yes, yes it is!" :vapor:

I've thought that when going out for a smoke break at work (vape break?) these days. Used to be I'd grab my pack, my lighter, my book and head out. Now there's a whole procedure, to make sure I'm ready to vape. But I used to get the same Marlboro 100 taste, every day, every time I smoked. Now I can decide I'm in a Green Apple mood. It's worth it.
