I happened across a cooking discussion where they were talking about getting a pot of soup or stew to that "next day" flavor, sound familiar? :D
Someone mentioned that he'd had that discussion with a lady he knew, and she swore that by taking the pot outside and placing it in the snow then taking it back in the house and reheating it, she was able to achieve it. Something about the theory that when we cool a liquid the molecules get closer together which would allow the flavors to combine.

I DIY, and use flavors that are vapable right away, but I thought I would mention this for people that chase faster steeping times. Try heating your liquid in a cup of hot water, then sitting it in a cup of ice water, and finally heating it back up again in the hot water. Shaking between steps could possibly be appropriate. Any reports back as to the results on this would be appreciated. :)

Genius! And here I was thinking about buying an ultra-sonic cleaner to agitate the bottles for an hour or two after delivery. You saved me about $300.00 so I can't thank you enough! (Actually, I'll probably spend the savings on more vape stuff).

No clue if this will actually work in the case of juice or not, but I'll keep my fingers crossed that I just allowed you to buy another $300 worth of vaping supplies. ;)

I think it does work StormFinch ... I was reading about a similar technique somewhere :2cool:

The physics are right. Similar to why any cook worth the title lets their meat set after cooking. I could only add that maybe letting it cool at room temperature may be more effective than cooling it quicker. Speeding up the cooling process may cause the molecules to retract back to their initial position if there's any kind of meniscus-like effect holding the similar molecules together. The last part is just a thought, it could be completely off.

For a soup or stew they were talking about once. As far as an e-juice goes, my best guess says that it would depend on the complexity and composition of the flavors, but I could be wrong. Give it a single cycle and check the flavor, then repeat if needed. Either way it would certainly take less time than letting it sit in a cabinet for a week or so. :)

Well yesterday 2 bottles from Ahlusion arrived so I'm giving this a try. Just placed the bottles in water and once the water started to boil I removed them and put them in the fridge to cool. I'll give them a few shakes and try them tomorrow. I sure hope this works and I didn't screw up my ejuices.

Please do let us know how it works. I'm planning on trying the same with my ejuices when they arrive.

OK, I've tried one juice Ahlusion Blueberry Vanilla cake. First let me say 30ml bottles from Ahlusion are shipped in glass bottles not plastic. I know not to boil a sealed glass bottle as it could easily explode. Once water temp started to bubble out they came and when in the fridge. I allowed them to cool down so the bottles were what i would say a normal temp.

Gave them a good shake several times last night removing the cap before and after shaking. OK this morning instead of cleaning out one of my protanks I washed out a brand new Evod, and put a clean new coil in it. Filled it up and let it sit for 10 minutes. Now onto to my MVP set at 7.5 watts. Please remember I have never tried this juice, so really no clue how it would taste to me. After a few vapes I could taste the blueberry, but not sure how to describe any vanilla cake. The vape was not harsh nor did I taste anything chemical at all.

I'm vaping it as I type and since I don't know how it would taste after 2 weeks of normal steeping I do know I will finish off this Evod full of juice. I will know more in two weeks as it's back to sitting on the shelf.

High heat can also be the enemy of plastic bottles, not only from a melting point but also taste. Just my :2c:

They say you shouldn't microwave food in plastic containers as it releases dangerous hormone type chemicals...wouldn't heating juice bottles do same? Different plastic? I know this is more of a general steep thought but I wonder when I see people talking about boiling water and such...
