What are everyone's steeping rituals?

I usually end up putting mine in a closet of an unused room, completely uncapped for about a week. (out of sight out of mind) Although, I do still find myself thinking about the new ones regardless.

Are there juices/vendors out there that may require more than a week? It seems (to me) that 5-7 days brings some/most of the hidden characteristics of most of the juices I've encountered thus far.

I am open to suggestions if anyone has any insight to what seems to work best for them.

I do have some BWB steeping as of right now. And some KVS. And some KBV.

I had read that the Backwoods needed more time to reach it's optimum flavors, but I'm noticing that most tobaccos need the steep time, whereas the fruit flavors really don't change much.

I guess I was really just wondering if I was weird, putting my juices up like someone would a nice wine.

Yeah some need more than a week. Especially if it is a bigger bottle of juice. I steep mine in a tin with the lid on to protect them from light, if the bottle is sealed I unseal it but I don't leave it with the cap off, unless it has a really strong chemical or cologne smell to it then I might leave the cap off for a day. Otherwise I don't. I make sure they are in a cool place. I shake them up every day, sometimes more than once a day. And depending on the size of the bottle, I let them steep for a few days or a week or more if they seem to need it. If something doesn't taste quite right I steep it some more before I try it again. Generally (because this doesn't apply for all juices) this is the time line for steeping I follow before trying something:
3 ml or less: probably good to go, don't need to steep
4 ml - 10 ml: A day or 2 to steep
10 ml: 3 days
15 ml: 4-5 days
30 ml: A week to 3 weeks

I don't buy vendor juices any more but I mix is 60ml batches so while I'm vaping one bottle the other has time to steep I just put it in a dark closet with the cap on it will be nice and steeped by the time the first 60ml bottle is gone, sometime I have to stick it in the freezer to stop the steep if I'm not vaping the first bottle fast enough some flavors like Kona cream just start tasting off if it gets to dark
