Hi all, I'm a 2 pack/day smoker trying to quit. Been using a V2pro, and it helped for awhile, but I'm looking for something that will deliver more punch. I'm trying to figure out what's what from the billions of choices out there.

Here's what I'd like to find. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

  • Something that will produce a decent cloud from a mouth to lung hit
  • Easy to sample different juices (the V2 carts weren't cleanable)
  • Not overly complex. I don't mind replacing parts, or some custom work, but I don't want to make this a part time job ;)
  • Solid build quality (so I'm not smoking plastic or glue, dealing with leaks, etc)
  • Cost is not a huge deal...damn cigs are $70 a carton. Just don't want to plunk down 100's on something that I may not stick with.
  • Adjustable power settings sound like something I'd want, but I'll defer to the experts.
Thanks!

I'd recommend the iStick 30 watt (2200 mah) or iStick 40 watt (2600 mah)with temperature control -which you don't need to use, but nice to have, paired with the Aspire nautilus Mini tank. Both are very user friendly and have great records. The Nautilus is a mouth to lung tank.

Hello and welcome to the forum @Citation. Glad to have you here!:)

I agree with @Sir2fyablyNutz re: the iStick 30 watt & Nautilus. I have not purchased a temp control mod yet so I am not up to speed on these mods.

Here's a couple of reviews.
I often use vapeCrawler to see who has the best pricing. If I only want to see suppliers from the USA I make sure USA is "green" and all the others are "gray". If you go down to the very bottom of the page you can see all the vaping websites vapeCrawler searches.

Welcome. Check out the Kanger Subox Mini. Nice device for beginners, low maintenance, and everything you need is included in the kit. You'll just need a battery to get started.

Thanks for the feedback! So I was reading the manual for the Aspire Nautilus Mini, and it looks like I can just wash out the tank when I want to try different juice flavors.

Question about the BVC coils. Looks like they have to be replaced periodically....how will I know when it needs a new coil? Also, should I replace the coil when changing juices? (I saw the 5-pack of coils available)

Another cost remedy is to take an old gunked coil from the Nautilus and put it in a small glass (like a shot glass) with a shot of vodka and let it soak for a few days or wee, shaking occasionally. Then let it air dry for a day, you should be able to get more use out of the coil. (I use cheap vodka).
