Had to finish my silver atomizer cause I dropped and lost my pheonix atomizer while I was out on my motorbike. It was supposed to have an air adjustment valve at the bottom but it was too complicated and needed a bit more tuning to make it work right. So I reworked the internals and just kept the design simple and made a standard hole on the side. I used a couple of the parts from my broken mini nova like the brass cap and threads to make the work a lot easier and use lesser silver since this is gonna be my personal atomizer. I made a diy o-ring to make a proper seal at the bottom by using a puncher and the silicon cover used to protect laptop keyboards. During this project I found that having a thinner body makes for a better draw and smoke production since the air hole becomes closer to the coil. It works good and the flavor is great when paired with a cotton gauze as a wick. I'm gonna make a thinner body on my next project as this unit is a bit fatter than my old pheonix.

At the bottom is a locking nut which secures the the silver positive terminal to the body. I got the 510 thread from another broken atomizer.

The negative and positive poles are all silver including the screws which secure the heating coil

Here is the mini vivi nova threads and brass cap force that is glued and force fitted to a sterling silver body, I have a feeling that the brass cap would lessen the heat transfer if I finish my silver drip tip.

Attached to my sterling silver mod.....now all I need is a sterling silver drip tip:)

Looking good gravewolf. I could see a silver ming style with a swirled pattern along the bulb part. Kind of like this, to pick up on the button's accent:

Are you doing the driptip cast?

Thanks asdaq, I'm still thinking if I should cast it since I can sculpt lots of unique shapes on wax that I can never do with just hammering on metal. The only problem with that method is that they tend to come out heavier and if I mess up the casting process I'll be losing precious hours of sculpting. Nice design on the driptip, it gives me an idea on what to do.

Edit: sorry asdaq, I'm quite sleepy today. I've been replying to bapgoods threads lately lol.

Ewe. Awesome. Engrave some of it. Wow

I'd love to but the wall is only 1mm thick and I'm a afraid denting it. Also engraving is a pain for me since I only use a manual engraver and not an electric one. I am thinking of just soldering some casted designs but I'll do it after I finished some of my other works. What matters to me with this project is that I have made a successful working rebuildable atomizer....and that I don't need to buy one anymore :) I just made a few adjustments last night and it's now working as good as my lost phoenix. I also fixed the shorting issue cause the bottom o-ring that isolated the positive pole had a tear and it was making contact with the negative sides and replaced it with a plastic one that also reduces the play whenever I attach it to my mod. I'm just determining if I like the stiff draw or if it would give off more vapor if I increase the size of the hole but would be sacrificing the stiff draw.
