I've made juice and given them away for presents, so I order labels from companies that do online printing.

I get "return address labels". You can pick out what design or background you want, and even have something printed on it if you like (you can design it yourself). Watch for sales! Check sites such as: vistaprint, overnightprints - even walmart and other similar sites. The "return address labels" are the perfect size I think.

For "plain, inexpensive" labels that I scribble on, I get a pack of white "file folder labels" (9/16" x 2 3/4") - extremely inexpensive.

Hope that helps. :)

UPDATE:
It looks like Vistaprint has a sale right now ... 140 return address labels for FREE (you only pay shipping).

I enjoy designing and printing labels for my juice bottles. I use a program called "The Print Shop." It's a basic desk top publishing program... Once you get your template saved all you have to do is go in and change the details... I print off on glossy adhesive label paper and trim with a small slide paper trimmer... With a little work you can probably manipulate a word document to do the same... I formatted lables to fit a 1-oz. dropper bottle... Example attached...
