Kreel, I've seen others post the same problem with the 901's, it might just be a model specific thing, too. I use this all the time, in the 801 and now Janty Stick, and still love it. I have a weird "ss-118" that I used as a back-up, and it tastes very sweet out of that. Totally a different taste, but still nice.So you tried the JC tobacco flavor I see. The taste was so bad, I can still taste it when I close my eyes. Took several days before it totally wore off my atty.
Don't abuse your instrument in the meantime, just chalk it up to experience.
And Yoshister, that scratchy feeling in your throat might be that Propylene Glycol is too drying, or you are sensetive to it, causes inflamation. I Had to go to Non-PG or Vegetable Glycerin to get rid of raspy throat. Do, though, drink more water, that helps a bit.
