Still intermittently smoking with vaping

Upping your nicotine of your juice is one way. Or finding a juice that is so delicious that you can’t stand the terrible taste of a cigarette is another. With this I think your brain will associate deliciousness with nicotine and it will reject getting nicotine any other way. Good luck to you, I hope whatever you do it’s successful.

Hey guys, was anyone else guilty of this? I just can't seem to shake 1 or 2 smokes during the day, I feel like my vaping is pointless as a result even though I know it isnt.

I used to smoke 12-18 roll ups a day at work so its a CIGnificant reduction/improvement. Does anyone have any tips, ive been vaping almost 2 weeks now and I did first start vaping 2 years ago but it broke and I got so angry replacing coils I went back.

Im not sure what mg of nicotine im on I should probably be on about 10? But in my 100ml bottles I've got two nic shots each. How much does that work out as?

Thanks so much for all your help yesterday too,
Luke.

welcome to ECF Luke ... keep doing what you're doing, you are almost there.

one day soon, you'll just not want to smoke those 1 or 2 :party:

Many people smoke half a cigarette and relight the other half the next time they want to smoke. The 2nd half will taste funky and that's the point.
This is what worked for me. I quit after dual using for 1 week using this method.

It's not how many cigarettes you smoke a day that is important. It's how many you DIDN'T smoke that is.

Me too I confess I cannot get passed that morning smoke nor one just before bed and possibly one or two in between.

I've been vaping since I saw the first cigalike at the corner gas station. They had a flyer up at the counter for a few weeks announcing their arrival that was 2006 i think? I was hooked before I ever tried one, was the first one to buy one there and have not given it up since.

But I still cheat a little and I am OK with it. Look at it this way I smoke about 20 less cigarettes per day now :)

@robby_h - that's a massive result. 20 less smokes a day is profound.

I understand the appeal of those "special" cigarettes. They are absolutely the hardest to stop. I made a decision a few years back to stop entirely, and (possibly because vaping wasn't "good enough" then), I found I had to use a few different things in addition to vape so that I didn't miss the special ones. Bought myself nic lozenges, snus, gum you name it and that, combined with vaping, got me fully off the smokes.

Everyone's has different priorities, but I think that a bit of nicotine poly-use can be very helpful. Oh, also, vape was unreliable back then - I HAD to have a can of snus on me in case my vape broke/ran-out etc (I'm a real nic-head!)

I hae been experimenting with a Juul some and that has not worked very well so far. And just got a couple weeks ago a Aspire Breeze and some 34mg salt nic liquid. Now ive had some success with that but I cannot seem to find it lol. I remember taking it to bed with me a couple nights ago and have not seen it since. (insert joke here) but realy its been MIA and the hunt continues!
