Still searching myself. Maybe not looking for perfect, but maybe consistent and less hassle. Sometimes I miss v2 cigalikes and prefilled carts.

I know what you mean no faffing with juice voltage different cartos and clearomisers and then faffing about with the correct voltage for both the carto and the correct juice I too miss the days of twist and go a little lol

Dude - in the same boat. Even started a thread about it somewhere in the RBA section. Long Story short... there is no perfect vape - if there was, everyone would be vaping it. I'm still sitting with some carto-tanks on my Provari and some silica drips on my Roller happy but COULD be happier. Hoping that either my incoming Spheroid or Killer 705 will change all these problems of mine.

Hi there. Sorry you're still searching for the perfect Vape after 2 years. I'm a kinda newbie and am very happy with my carto tanks and ProVari! :D

As for juices... Have you tried Vape Dudes yet? I've had great luck with their juices. I have a lot of favorite juices and most of them come from them...Some Faves.... Appletini, Zing!, Banana Cream Pie, Strawberry Fields and Bunch O Berries all of those are from Vape Dudes.

Good luck to you finding that perfect Vape! :D

The road to happy-vape-ville is easy:

1) A Mechanical mod (chinese clones are fine here, if you get a good one [i.e. Sigelei #19])
2) RDA (Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer), the IGO-L is a good place to start
3) DIY juice (the only way to go, saves boatloads of money, and you can customize flavors to your taste)

The mech mod will never let you down and RDAs have the best vapor production and flavor you can find, IMO. You can get all set up for under $50 if you look hard enough. :)

I've been using a bunch of different things, but after finally getting my genny set up right (DID clone) nothing else I've vaped compares. It has a few issues, and I'll probably be upgrading to a similar but larger setup soon, but in my book RBAs, when set up properly, provide the best vaping performance.

I'm still looking for the "holy grail" of vaping kit. But to be honest, I don't think I will ever find it and that for me is the best thing about this hobby. If I ever did achieve perfection, I think I'd soon get bored. Waiting on new kit, tinkering with coils and wicks and mixing up a storm with DIY juice helps keep me vaping and keeps me interested in vaping

If it were that easy.....My happy place involves a ProVari and a pyrex carto tanks (and yes, I have had both mechanicals and RBA's). Everyone is different. There is more than one perfect vape.

To the OP, there are so many choices out there and it becomes overwhelming sometimes. How I got through it was to try something in a cheaper version first, which is what the person above was suggesting to you. If you want to try a carto tank, plastic ones are cheap. The same is true of RBA's.

I think the searching is the fun part as well. Like a treasure hunt. Right now my happy place is protanks and evods that I rebuild. I've still haven't let the genesis bug bite yet. I have a did clone a friend sent. I'm probably going to get a aga t2 because it is bigger and easy to work with then I'll work with the did. I'm going to try a ceramic rope wick first.

Nothing in life is perfect as in vaping. Some people buy one set up and are happy and stick with it. I'm not that person. I love tinkering with stuff.

I'm the opposite. Ever since I was a kid, I've had a thing about taking things apart and putting them back together again. It's no wonder my Dad would never leave me alone with his car for more than 5 minutes

It's the variety of kit and juice flavours that really keeps me going. I'm waiting on a Vamo in the vapemail and I've already got ideas on how to take out the insides and transplant them into a custom box mod. I just can't be trusted

My perfect vape, and the only one that keeps me away from smokes, simulates smoking and what I smoked. For me that's:

ego C at 3.3 volts
Boge LR 2.0-2.4 cartomizers
Grey Matter juice with and without light menthol

If the rare mood hits me to experience something totally different, I'll break out my Vamo or USB VV and crank it up but that in no way simulates smoking for me. Then I remember, there's a reason so many VV setups start at 3.0 and cigalikes are 3.7.

Somewhere out there
Basically we have dripping (best flavor) cartos (not bad) carto tanks (most reliable, some flavor loss) clearos/tanks (usually good vape, some flavor loss, but fiddly/finicky) so maybe just switch around between them all. This is what I do. I started dripping again, hadn't in years and it is very satisfying for best flavor, drawback is only the having to drip.. drip.. drip.. every so many hits. Good luck! bnrk

I been thru 3 electronic mods and many carto/tanks systems and vivi novas etc. dripping attys too. so many juices.. and I never found my holy grail set-up, then I started with mechanicals and LR cartos, and found this to work much better for me. first a lot less fiddling around. battery's last longer also. and my vapor has more flavor and more smoke and its a whole lot more consistent day after day. so I'm good with my mechanical 3.7v mods and 1.7ohm cartos. and I'm getting closer to a few e-juices now too. almost there....
