Welcome Linda!

Uhm, may not be your imagination. Although, I run about 1.8Ω coils, but 50/50 juice, and I don't have any issues. I do build my own coils - and I've gone as low as 1.4-1.5 without problems. What kind of topper are you using? Maybe the airflow is getting choked. You're not over-tightening the topper? Flavors of juice?

PG has a harder time making vapor. When I use a single coil tank & small battery, I started with a 650 mah Ego and a 1.5 Aspire BVC, it gets kinda burney by the time it gets to vaping good. I recomend this alot & I'm fixin' to do it again. Get yourself a MVP 2.0 & a Kanger Aerotank V2. The MVP lets you adjust voltage/wattage on your battery & the V2 lets you adjust air flow plus gives you dual coils. You'll be able to find the "sweet spot" you're looking for in any juice.

Some people seem to have a sensitivity to Pg (propylene glycol), and fewer still have a sensitivity to Vg (vegetable glycerine). The nicotine concentration is what is responsible for the "throat hit" or throat burn in vapor, and to a lesser degree Pg.

You may need to drop the nic concentration in your e-liquids, and also consider using liquids with a higher Vg ratio.

Do you mean that it burns your throat, or that the juice itself tastes burnt?
I'm not really clear on what your problem is from the post... I would tend to think that you're saying it burns your throat, and if that is the case, then yes. You probably have a sensitivity to PG or you nic may be a bit high as Bad said... higher PG intensifies the "throat hit" as does higher nicotine...

Thanks for all the great info. Sorry my post wasn't clear....my juice is burning, not my throat. I am going to try the high vg to see if that works. If not, I will buy the setup that Ed Kindred mentioned above. I love vaping too much to go back to smoking! Will the higher vg alter the taste of the juices? Not that it matters much....just curious.

Thanks again! ~Linda
