Thanks for all the well wishes, I am almost numb, I cried I laughed, I'm happy, I wish I knew how much, not posted yet at Social Security online, I made an account. I want to call but lawyer said just wait, I have to have a financial phone call to give my bank account info to them, I just opened an account too. Yesterday my left palm was itchy, I thought it was from my neuropathy! lol

-16 when I got up this morning. The wife fought the diesel pickup for 15 minutes this morning, looks like the fuel gelled :(

Guess I'll be getting some fuel additive tonight and maybe even figuring out how I can stretch an extension cord far enough to plug in the block heater for the first time in the 4 years I've owned it.

Now I just have to bite my nails and worry about her driving the 2wd car up in the mountains where the snow and ice is worse than down here in Denver. :facepalm:

Please NO! I can't take anymore snow!! I already don't have power from last nights storm, 2 feet?!? UGH!! I hate winter!

Woohoo Karen! I can't say I'm surprised. I would have been if you hadn't gotten it. I'm relieved. It's been owed to you for a long time.

The Medicaid in this state covers 3 months bills retroactively. Also it's illegal for providers to take collection actions or report it to a credit agency for anyone on Medicaid and that part is federal. Just a FYI.

Thank you! It's a relief for sure! Just have to pay off loans, friends and bills that haunt me. As I said, the monthly money and the insurance are most important! I understand from the lawyer this part still takes a while, so, I am still going to be penniless for about a month or two. At least there is a light up ahead. Maybe a little pot at the end of the rainbow.

We were wondering why the sunroom has been getting colder and colder, especially all day today. DH went upstairs and it is 57 degrees up there. The upstairs furnace is not working. Period. Now have to worry about the same pipes that burst 1/7 bursting again. We can shut off water up there. Does anyone know if we drain pipes by flushing toilet and running water until it goes dry???

DH is on phone to friend but they are trouble shooting electric and heating unit. I am worried about more pipes bursting. I can not stand this anymore.

Kitty went back to vet and had her steroid shot this afternoon. So we wait to see if her chin heals.

We had a 30 year old raised ranch back in CT with original furnace. A good quality track home (about 24 or so homes). We never had this much trouble as we are having with this individual site built home that is 10 years old which we bought new.

I do not know what to do. DH says he does not think water from 1/7 got to furnace upstairs. Heating and air company did winter check on it in December and they said it was working fine.
