Jim,

Took a trip to Harbor Freight myself a couple days ago. Got a new Multi-Meter, a jewelers-screwdriver set (for coil winding) a 10-pack of 1/16" Titanium Nitride coated drill bits (Hey, it was only 99 cents, OK for coil wrapping or airhole enlarging) and a couple more "Storage Organizers" (aka toolboxes).

With the "Helping Hands" did you get the cheaper one or the more expensive one (with the illuminated magnifier?) I think the cheap one is like $3 and the bigger one is $7 or so? IMHO the cheap one is pretty crappy, the bigger one is much nicer and well worth it.

In the case of reaming out airholes I would suggest a diamond reamer or go one step easier and get a bead reamer at a craft store. Think round file but diamond coated and needle pointed so you can flare out with more control.

I cheaped out and got the one without the light. It just didn't seem to help with coils, so it's in the cabinet now. The torch is great though. No more burning my fingers oxidizing kanthal or mesh :D

The tweezer set is great though. I'm using the spring loaded squeeze for microcoils a lot, and the angled ones are great for fishing cotton through.

As far as screwdrivers, I had found a great set at Lowes a few years back, so I have a great selection of shaft sizes to build different coils.

Today though, I'm fighting my RSST. The same juice that tastes awesome on my Octopus tastes like shorting out electronics in the RSST. I even put it on my MVP2 so I could lower the wattage I'm throwing at it. Probably a hot spot...grrrr

FP, I had a long two days of fighting with my truck (cranky water pump 12 hour fix with 2 extra trips to the store) so I didn't get my quad working yet, the coils are done and I just skipped over to my trusty igo-w and rebuilt it since having trouble with the nano coils. Currently running a .7 dual coil build and loving it.

Sadly, my run of no analogs ended as I couldn't bring myself to get all the grease and garbage all over my new mech  .

Next goal is my Genesis-style aga-t which is similar to the RSST, hopefully it goes easier in auto-drip mode this time.

Oh and about burned fingers, get a hemostat... RadioShack, about $5. Maybe easier to call it a r**ch clip lol.

Oh btw no offense but I was being curious and nosing around. If it's about the sugar they're right. There's quite a few sweeteners (agave also) that are not recommended. Dig around the forum there's been quite a few resident chemists and such that have done research on what's safe to vape. Nikhil comes to mind as one. One of the DIY guys and now owner of pure vapes.
Good info on Facebook too.

Grr. Its so freaking cold right now. Heat is set on 80 and actual temperature in the house is 65. Im wrapped in a blanket. Playing my computer games.

Morning Top, same here. Just got woke up to the call that we have no work tonight.. nor last night either :banghead: also the reason your juice is not on its way; very long night Friday, 2 hrs of sleep and 14 hrs fixing my POV Friday and then all the weather starting early Sunday morning and getting woke up to my wife banging on the wall because she couldn't get back in with a frozen latch on the storm door this morning.

I have it made, just have to be able to get out to the post office and get it mailed out to you. On the bonus side they get a bit more steep time before you her them, which reminds me... mind playing Guinea pig for a new coffee blend? Lol :p

Gonna try to wrap my lungs around my sub-ohm dripper and wake up while I lurk for a bit.
