Have a T-Dux 4.0 that seems to be making trouble.

I use it either on an MVP 2 or a Ola - X Hero. The coils are stock at 1.5 & 2.0 ohm. I stay within the 8 to 10 watt range in using them. I use a 50/50% juice. It seems the coils are keen to burn out, or otherwise offer very foul tasting vape after a few draws.

Have tried adding an eGo adapter to lift the tank from the mod a little. This seems to help but only shortly. Had thought maybe it was an airflow problem, ergo, lift it off the mod. This tank uses the T-Series coils which what I gather are all T-Dux 2.0 coils. Is there an issue with the stock coils having a bad run, maybe?

Got the coils from X vendor. Not had any problems before with X vendor's coils, any gear really. Think it may be a production run error or something? Or maybe I simply need to drain and clean out the tank?

Like the tank and have liked the coils up til now. Got me befuddled.

Sounds like a bad batch of coils. Can you contact the vendor?

I can but not sure it would be to much avail aside from letting them know. Probably a good idea though.

NB: Vendor contacted with a polite, "what gives?"; email.
These were got via Vaping Mall, I think Mad Vapes filled the order for them. Not blaming or shaming here. Stuff happens. It may be stuff happened at production level, maybe in shipping. Point being it was odd to me, first in two years I've had any kind of possible product issue. Kind of hinky but hey stuff happens. :) Dee Dee La La ... :)
