Do get the V2 rba. The barrel is held with a small screw.
I know. I don't recommend it because that screw us TINY and easily lost.

The better choice us to follow the lead of kayfun, Orchid and Silverplay Nano and make the barrel a fraction of a millimeter thicker.

I wish UD would make the barrel of the GMini thicker

Don't remove it, just back it out enough to pull the collar up.

Yes, a tad thicker would also be good!

I have never had the v2 in my hand but that screw looks very short in the videos I have watched. The thing looks inkr to be about 3 mm long. Backing it it out without removing it will be hard unless the screw has very fine threads.

I've been reading this discussion thinking that the problems of self defrosting freezers is very different for everything else stored in there since everything else actually could cycle between a frozen and unfrozen state. Very uniquely our eLiquids never actually freeze. At worst they would just cycle up and down a few degrees without changing state.

I'm not stating any opinion as to the relative efficacy of the two types of freezers. Just suggesting that in truth there is quite obviously no "thawing and refreezing" of eLiquids since they never freeze.
Makes no difference if they are frozen or not.

The stuff in frost free freezers have Temperature swings if 20--30 degrees. That causes all kinds of problems for everything stored long term.

It is, and doesn't need more than 1/2 turn loose to remove the collar. Definite improvement over the original.

There are plenty of RTAs.

Someone recommended Kayfun 4. That is the LAST THING I would recommend. Too many moving parts and too many things to go wrong.

I would recommend the Billow V2. It is like a simplified version of the Kayfun V4.

Aqua V2 is another with a solid chimney.

I love the heck out of my little Silverplay Nano. The magic happens with the Bell cap. Not the glass tank. Screw the chimney into the Bell cap tightly and they stay together. I pull my build all the time for re wicking. I even bottom fill the Silverplay without needing a tool for the fill port. I also plug two of the juice wells with cotton and wet them with juice. The cotton plugs stay in in the wells until I get the base screwed on. I prefer a single coil.

Another great thing about the Silverplay Nano is the O ring on the base is the same size as the O rings for the base of the Kayfun and Orchid. I know because I pulled out the flat silicone O ring and put in a Kayfun O ring and put it back together. After 12 hours the Silverplay had not leaked at all. You can get 20 of those O rings on Fasttech for about 80 cents.

That is why Silverplays are in my SHTF drawer. Should you have loose threads at the chimney a little locktite on the threads and that us NOT coming apart. Besides you need locktite in the SHTF drawer anyway.
I ordered a goblin mini last night it has a single coil adapter on it.

See the thread I started about the GMini.

In the first few messages I completely spell out the issues with the GMini.

It's a fantastic RTA and the flavor is our of this world.

Since the airflow is directly under the coil it tends to leak if the wicking isn't perfect.

You need the wick tight but still able to slide in the coil, and I leave the tails long where the tails reach the bottom of the juice wells.

I'm not completely ready, but getting there. Need a little more 100 mg nic, 3 or 4 more good rebuildable tanks, and maybe a few more mods. Staying away from DNA devices. Customer service may be obsolete. Going more along the istick 100w and rx200. May have to look into some mech mods(not my favorite things to use). Simple, but sufficient. Not worried about wire, wick, batteries, flavorings, vg/pg. Am looking for a good deal on assorted o-rings to keep on hand. Maybe fastech?

Aren't the FDA deeming regulations supposed to go in effect in about 4 months?

Not much time.

I say get prepared or you will certainly repent in leisure for not getting prepared

I just wish the gutless politicians had the CO Jones to stand and fight this tyranny.

The politicians will never have the guts to do anything that might jeopardize what really matters - their own re-election. In order to fight tyranny the fight must come from the people, most of whom don't recognize what is before their eyes. Now, for me, I have to go join a very meaningful "hashtag" movement, wear a nice ribbon to show that I care and then watch the Kardashians.

Two quick points for my fellow "hoarders" or soon to be! :)

- Read this post about NIC storage from our resident Chemist and follow his advice please

- I recently spoke with Flavor Art in detail about storage of their flavors. Summary: They say the life is about two years and should be stored in a "cool/stable" and dark place like your cupboard and NOT in your refrig. NOT in the refrig or the freezer.

:)

Two years for FA flavors huh , not bad , i have some older than that i think , oh well .

I know a place that has the EH Pro Kayfun lite V2 for $9.99 shipped if that interests you.

    No you can't
I'm looking at it this way. I'll be vaping for at least five or more years and getting all MY supplies early - NOW.
If the agencies of the Government of the United States decides to regulate Vaping which by the way is illegal because only CONGRESS can make and pass laws. Which is exactly what is going on. Now that part is out of my control but it will not stop me from vaping and if there is a black market for nicotine I'm going to come into a lot of money. OH BOY!!!

Survivalism is movement of individuals or groups (called survivalists or preppers) who are actively preparing for emergencies, including possible disruptions in social or political order, on scales from local to international.

    You thought preppers were crazy...

I also have family members that vape and want to make sure I can help them out too if I ever need to.

That's what I am doing for my mil. I mix for her and am stocking up on nicotine for the both of us.

I use a subtank mini and love the airflow. How's the airflow on that?

They also have the Kayfun Monster bases for $4.xx and wl give a much improved airflow over the Kayfun Lite Plus.

I'm a huge Kayfun fan also but lately I've been using these also. $13.26 SXK Nebula Wine Tank RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - authentic / 5ml / stainless steel + glass / 22mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping Can change the coil out without emptying the tank and the deck is even easier to build on then the Kayfun.

Better price over here Kayfun Lite Plus V2 Dual Airflow Clone by EHPro Yes, to stocking up on them.

    I would recommend

If you're a beginner get a Kayfun for a mouth to lung hit

A Kayfun Monster If you like lung hits

After experience try an Orchid, Goblin Mini or Silverplay Nano.

These all look good. I just want to make sure the airflow is comparable to the subtank mini. That is the only tank I have besides my old nautilus minis that I don't use anymore.

Also, I only have one good working mod which is the subox. So I need to find one with replaceable batteries. I'm on a tight budget.

I got the nic situation down. Now just need to start with hardware. But with the prices I see on those tanks it makes it more reasonable. Then mods next.

How long would you expect any RBA to last? None of them are any better than their weakest or most often adjusted part. I think for most of them, that will turn out to be the tiny wire capture screws or something like the bottom fill screws. O-rings will fail, but those are easily replaced. If a screw strips, it can be replaced. If the screw hole strips, that's the end. Same if the 510 connector threads strip. Any atty is only going to be as durable as it's material and quality of machining. Bottom line, I think it's best to buy what you like and get backups vs. settling for something else that your don't enjoy using day to day.

With a bit of care a quality stainless steel atty will last ten years easily.
If a screw hole strips it is on the (mis)user... but most can be fixed if the need exists.

Absolutely. One lady I know bought the Goblin Mini, and on the third fill lost the fill screw. She rummaged around and found a piece of silicone to plug the fill port and she is still using the GMini daily. It leaks about two drops on each fill but she still uses it.
