I use a subtank mini and love the airflow. How's the airflow on that?

Kayfuns won't go nearly as wide open as the Kanger Subtank. I throttle my subs way down, as I prefer the tighter draw.

Maybe just lay in a good supply of subtanks and spare parts for 'em?

Somewhere out there
With a bit of care a quality stainless steel atty will last ten years easily.
If a screw hole strips it is on the (mis)user... but most can be fixed if the need exists.

I was thinking less than that, but hope you are right. I'll check back here in 10 years to find out.

kayfun Monsters will give a lot more airflow than regular Kayfuns

I just saw some of the kayfun monster minis. The airflow looks about right for those? Compared to the other kayfuns.

And this is why there is always a constant rash of new products.
From the manufacturer to the vendor, they can't live off of what they sold you 8-10 years ago.
They need to be constantly changing the game.

Let hope we are all still here on ECF in 10 years. FWIW I think ten years is conservative. ;)

Indeed and rash is the perfect descriptor!:lol:
Worked out well for me too, picked up 17 of my prefered style of attys for 34 dollars over the last couple of weeks. :D Old fashioned for the win!!! One GREAT BIG thank you to the "chasers" for that. ;)

Aren't the FDA deeming regulations supposed to go in effect in about 4 months?.... snip

Very briefly because it's a great thread and I don't want to wander off topic a great deal. My guess, roughly shared by some of the old time hoarders in this thread /lol :

    NO!

The deeming currently sit on the desk of OMB for final review BEFORE they become the law of the land. Roughly 2/16 for the final law of the land. Then roughly a two year quasi grace period before the slaughter is complete. We will see a "rolling" panic starting on the day the final law of the land is published in the federal register. The "rolling" panic in the marketplace builds intensity, so every month that passes, it gets more intense and worse.

/end of my very very dark guess. Better safe than sorry!

Please ask questions of any of us if you are not sure what to do or need details. Please spread the word. Please don't be bashful. We are really talking about saving lives so it's dam serious stuff!

EDIT: Still some left of these rock bottom lowest price in the world for these KFL+ V2 clones. I picked up another 5 early today and left some for the rest of you hoarders /lol Total for me between clones and authentics is around 20!

    Good luck!

    Good luck!

I'm worried once it goes through they will cut the two years to something closer to 90 days-6 months. I know I'm being paranoid, but I don't trust the government.

I never trust anyone who seeks to rule over me. And that is especially true when they profess to be doing what is best for me.

I predict immediate bans on the online sale of niquids, premixed and unflavored, and less than a 2-year grace period (if we actually get that long on anything -- I don't trust them either) on open tanks and possibly mods. But this is all if the OMB doesn't send the regs back again and slap the FDA's hand for lying about health matters and not doing due-diligence with respect to economic impact.

Just wondering if anyone has one and if so what do you stock?

Like so many others - mechs and regulated mods. Rebuildables of varying kinds. The only ones I haven't successfully built have been the Nautilus heads. About 1.75L of nic in my freezer - I figure I use about 30 mL/month when I mix (if even that much.) PLENTY of PG/VG, cotton, wire, etc. My state is swiftly approaching STOOPID, so I just want to be "positioned".

We can order all the hardware we want ... just no e-liquid to go in it
There are several B&M's here in town tho', and "friends" ;)

    <<<< "Friend" here ;)

I got all paranoid reading posts on here all night. LOL I just e-mailed a friend that I think has a chest freezer in his basement. I might have to take a little corner of it for nicotine. Then I gotta learn how to coil.

Coiling is quite easy. Wicking can be a touch bit trickier. I started on Protank 2 heads. Still use them frequently. I also have a number of RDAs - wicking is "more forgiving" because I'm not fighting a vacuum. Check out steam-engine.org. Great info. I really try to keep my life simple. Mostly single coils. I've done a couple of duallies, but I really just prefer single coils.

I think whatever happens if you have nic you are golden. Once the nic is taken care of worry about the rest. They may try but it will be virtually impossible to regulate hardware. One needs only to look at {other stuff} stuff to see this is the case. That said I can't imagine prices ever being cheaper than they are now.

One thing about KBox Mini's... they really were designed specifically for the Subtanks. The 510 connection is very fickle. Some of my toppers work, some do not. I have a Royal Hunter that works. I bought 3 more, about 6 months later. None of those work. So even if you hear that a certain topper works, the one(s) you buy may not. Personally I stopped buying them because I do not want these issues down the road when I have to swap to backup toppers that might not work. I think I've had better luck with my Evic Mini VTC in this way, and it's fairly comparable in size and features (plus TC if you want that) at a fairly comparable price.

That's good to know, thanks! When I bought mine it was between the mini and the evic mini vtc. I chose the kbox mini because I heard the subtank mini was a better tank than the one that came with the mini vtc. Now I'm not getting a kit just the mods. TwoBears also said good things about the evic mini vtc. I'll look into those as well. Because I plan on getting the kayfun monsters and definitely don't want to get screwed into not being able to use those. I really appreciate everyone's advice. It is really helpful.

How do people "outside" of town manage ??

Are they reduced to making a monthly drive/trip into town to stock up on eliquids or Nic Bases & flavorings?

How ARE you guys managing who live in States that have already imposed certain restrictions on Online-sales etc. ?

Not talking about the few exceptions who, thanks to "lucky circumstances" ( live in a main town with a good choice of B&M vape shops, live on/near the state lines, have family/good friends nearby who are willing to "help" them out, travel frequently for their work anyway and so on...) manage to circumvent the problem...
