So, this post is a little different from the others. I travel out of the country relatively frequently and do not want to risk having to lose my stockpile, so I'm looking for mods that are insanely cheap mods that offer on board charging with a removeable battery that if needed I can leave behind before returning to the US. Think along the lines of an ego type of mod where if I lose it... well, oh well. The mod should not have an internal battery as I'm thinking about 10 or more years down the line. I do not want to bring a charger as I don't want to lose it. I do have a charger that I can bring if necessary but would rather not. Looking for something that could tide me over for a week or 4. I also would like some recommendations for clearos that would be decent as I don't plan to rebuild while out of the country on vacation. Thoughts or recommendations? If you have links I'd appreciate it too. Thanks!

All cheap ego size type devices I know of are all internal battery. Looking for a compact device with replaceable batteries but chargeable on board. Sigelei Mini 30watt, Kanger KBox Mini (one that comes with the subbox (50watts)/topbox (70watts) kits), Evic VTC Mini, iStick60watt are all about the cheapest mods I can think of that could be considered disposable if confiscated. Clearomizers, for mouth to lung, Aspire K1 (needs a 510 to Ego Addapter on a 510 only mod), Nautilus/Nautilus Mini, Eleaf GS, Kanger Protank Mini V3/Aerotank Mini, direct to lung Ego Mega One or Cubis, Subtank Nano/Mini, Aspire Clieto (would not be compatable with the Sig Mini 30watt though, to low a resistance coil heads below 0.5ohms)

If you can still find one available, still got one in my older vape equipment drawer. Worked real well off a cheapo walmart belkin usb hub that had its own power supply, under .5amps draw, though I was using Kanger Protank Minis and T3S tanks with it back in my Ego device starting out. You'll be limited to 1.5 to 1.8ohm coils minimum with it though. 3.7volts output at 1.8ohms clocks in at about 2.06amps, so the powerbank would have to provide at least that much current to get a decent vape, I remembered mine being a bit anemic compared to my Egos way back when.

I am going to recommend the Smoant Knight V1. This little mod is a tank. It is a side by side so it protects the tank, it is very weighty but fits nice in the pocket. I have 2 of them and dropped the mod a ton and it still works like it is new.

You can get the mod only or the kit that comes with a tank. The Tank is okay, but it takes Kanger subtank coils & the RBA so you can get them pretty much anywhere. You can get the mod only for $40 and the kit for about $52.

The Tank, even though it takes Subtank coils, is not as good as the Subtank. I like this mod paired with a Top Tank and that is what I would recommend. You can get the Coils for it, or pick up multiple RDA Heads (Cheaper than the Coils if you use Fastteck) and rebuild them all for the road.

Here is a pic of one setup with a subtank (Left) and one setup with the kit tank (Right)

Would something like this work? Cheap enough. I'm considering picking up a couple for my son.

Kanger KBOX 40W Box Mod

I bought a couple of these to try since they were so cheap. After receiving them they actually vape very nicely for me so I ordered several more for the stash. At $13 I won't care if it gets lost or broke.

I was going to put down a Pico as perfect for travel, but I'm afraid if I have one more post advising a Pico, folks will think I'm working for Eleaf.

The Pico is just such a good go to inexpensive mod for so many reasons. Travel is one of them. And yes, they can be usb charged.
I have two Pico's, and LOVE them.
