Stock Update

Just want to let everyone know, we are having some issues with our site not properly decrementing stock levels after purchase. Basically this means after your order is submitted, we are verifying inventory before we are allowing you to pay for your order. We have alot of inventory available but a few items are running low, and it makes more sense for me to let you pay for what I have instead of take your money and then have to refund you or spend time back and forth for substitutions. When I verify your order you will get a notification to go ahead and submit payment.

Thank you for your understanding... we are working to fix the glitch as fast as possible...

Shipping rates are posted on my site under the shipping tab. Everyone worldwide pays the same rate I lose on some deals and gain on others, it works out pretty good. Folks get a much better deal when buying several items. Here is an actual copy and paste from tracking on an order placed on the 11th.

I should note that the second one I made an error on the shipping address and the notice was left on the wrong home. I spoke with the customer on the phone and and he picked it up today from the post office. ALL my shipments must be signed for so that I have record of who got it for just this very reason. As much as I try to not screw anything up well.... it happens.

I asked the following question of you on another forum and you referred me to your policies section for the answer....

What guarantees do you offer the buyer if their order is confiscated and/or destroyed by Chinese or U.S. customs?

Here's what I found.....

Customs: It is your responsibility to know your laws and regulations in your country. eVapor can not be responsible for any issues or delays caused by customs or border contols in your country.

I know you said you havent had a shipment returned to China by customs yet and see that if this does happen, then the above states that you will just re-send it.

I think from the above the answer to my question is, and please correct me if I am wrong,

"If customs confiscates and/or destroys the order then we, the buyer, lose our purchase and our money"

I'm not trying to be awkward or unreasonable here just looking for a "yes or no" answer so I'll know whether it would be worth my while to pay you a higher price, for that extra insurance, for a sort of "customs" guarantee (if there is one) or if I should just buy straight from China myself if there's no additional benefit.

You have a valid concern, and I have been through this as a consumer and a supplier more than a few times. I have sweated and tracked and waited and tracked some more with many orders. Most china sites you will see the same type of policy, and when asked most will tell you they have had no problems but will resend if they get it back. My supplier has the same policy, and it has never had to be further pursued. Not that it doesn't happen and I am sure it will. We will have a meeting tomorrow and conference with my supplier and address this, and post the results here after.

All our shipments require a signature, so we know when and who gets it. My thoughts are possibly a "customs insurance protection" option for customers to choose if they wish? This could be a flat rate or a percentage of the order placed. Do you have an opinion? Would, for example, the offer of an extra $2 assurance on the reship or refund in the event of a customs hold or refusal persuade your business? The amount is just thrown out there for a response. Any opinions from folks would be appreciated.

As for paying a higher price we have set great prices, and I am confident they are as low or lower than anywhere. There are real benefits to having a real USA contact to get China prices. I have tested my shipper for a couple of months along with many others before deciding to use the ones I am using as a source of supply. There are many companies out there doing dropshipping and fulfillment for many other companies and even for thier own competitors. And with the future of this business somewhat of an unkown, an international supply IMO is the best way to go. If we shut down in the USA, we can continue to run elsewhere around the world.

I have worked very hard sourcing the right suppliers for my businesses, and I am confident in the end results. Our PV supply business is very young and any input and suggestions from folks are appreciated.

BTW USA produced, lab tested, and shipped juice is coming soon... stay tuned

Thanks for the response...

I'd certainly pay extra to "guarantee" that I would recieve the goods no matter what. I guess the amount would have to be satisfactory to both buyer and seller and still fall short of US supplier prices for the buyer.

Having said that, I acknowledge (and commend) the US suppliers and the fact their prices are somewhat higher, after all. those are the guys putting $$$ on the line with the customs issues and all, while we, the end-user, reap the benefits.

Thanks again for the post on the issue.

Meeting held, any package held at customs will be resent by the supplier, but ONLY if the product is legal in the country it is shipping to. I agree as far as the USA suppliers go, I buy from some of them as well quite frequently, and I have bought from many of them. My money goes on the line as well, and I do stock products here and order like they do. It is just nice to have the added dropship in my catalog and be able to offer service to anywhere in the world.

Again there have been zero issues in any country to date.

Just letting everyone know, we are changing our products to our own brand of USA made juice, batch tested and certified. The site will be under maintenance for a short time while we prepare for the new juice. We will be taking pre-orders on the site in the coming days for the first batch run...
