I was wondering how long you guys think it will take the fda to ban e-cigs?8-o
It looks like its definitly gonna happen, what are other peoples views on this. I was wondering about this cause I'm trying to figure out when I should stock up on some e-juice, batteries, and atomizers, the usb pass through will really come handy if this ban goes through........

I don't know...

Am confused on what is going on exactly.

From what I gather, they (they being big brother and big business and big tobacco and probably the illuminati or something too) are in the process of banning and/or taxing the things so they are now stopping some of the imports from china or whatever coming into the US...

As far as I can tell, its not illegal to use it or own it just to buy and sell.

Makes TONS of sense, I'm sure but I still don't get it.

I was buying tons of stuff anyway cause I want to try out different flavors and devices anyway. Plus, some of my friends are wanting to buy them and so I am getting them so they can just pay me back but if some weird thing happens, I will just keep them for me cause its my money and I'm selfish :D

Have 3 Dura-Cs ordered, a Yeti and soon another 401. Originally the Dura-Cs were to be gifts, but I'm keeping just in case. :p

As to the legality, last I heard only the packages that were mislabeled or blatantly marketed as "FDA approved, for smoking cessation, NRT, etc." were being refused. Still legal to possess and sell so long as you don't make any medical claims.

How can the FDA ban a battery connected to a heating coil?

Calm down, if they're going to ban anything it'll be the juice and that stuff isn't hard to make.

Last week, a spokeswoman for the FDA declared e-cig devices "illegal." However it seemed (to me) to be an off-the-cuff statement and not a prepared policy.

That said, I'm not 'stockpiling' per se, I'm just indecisive... so I've purchased a 901, 801, mini-pipe, and lastly an e-cigar. Lots of devices, lots of spare parts, and most importantly, lots of juice. I've so far got 7 30ml bottles of 36mg, a gallon of PG, 16 oz of glycerine, and about $100 of Lorann's flavorings. I should be good for a little while.

Being cautious. Not panicked. I have several e-cigs enroute, but I am new and don't know which one will be my mainstay. After I get a favorite, I'll start building a substantial inventory. I don't know how this will all shake out, but there seems to be a lot of people investing in e-cigs supply businesses stateside. That's alot of cash to drop without weighing the risks. One of the Janty reps say that things in HK are settling down, and that legal moves are being made to looses the noose. Hopefully that's true.
