Stop the FDA from Destroying a Free and Open Marketplace with Improper Personal vaping Legislation
Our country is founded on the idea of free and open markets, yet the FDA is currently working on enacting legislation that would hinder these free and open markets. I speak of the current proposed legislation for electronic cigarettes; specifically the part that would require manufacturers of personal
vaping devices to submit their devices to the FDA for approval. The small companies which currently provide the most innovation will be unable to pay to have new, or even currently available devices approved, and will almost instantly go out of business. Until concrete scientific studies are published, legislation should be limited to the control of sale to minors, and the need for the liquids used in
vaping to be labeled with their ingredients. Don't let Big Tobacco take away this market.
