Stopped by the law for vaping

Was driving to work yesterday vaping away when I felt like someone was staring at me. I looked over and a Highway Patrol was riding beside me watching me vape. Then he got behind me and turned on the blue lights. I was thinking maybe I was speeding more than normal or something but it was due to me vaping. The cop said he wasnt sure if I was smoking (Other Stuff) while driving or what. After talking with him a few minutes about vaping he told me his wife smokes and he wanted to find a way to get her to stop. I told him about ECF and he let me go with no ticket or anything. So if you are the patrolman and you happen to read this disregard what I said about not speeding anymore than normal lol.

I've had that happen to me, but I wasn't pulled over. The police officer looked very confused though. If he hadn't been in the turning lane of a very busy street, I would have had to explain myself. LoL

Well glad he understood but you weren't doing anything illegal so there no reason to give you a ticket.

I was stopped at a red light last night and I heard the women in the car next to me ask her passenger "is he smoking (Other Stuff) ". I laughed and just said "no, it is an electronic cigarette". We all had a laugh.

good story... i do street ministry and often give,,, ummm, lets just say working girls rides.. i was in a strange area with a "woman" on the back of my scoot and i was pulled over. The girl was holding my VV tube with a tank on it and the cop had an extremely hard time believing i was a pastor and that was an ecig.. im happy a local cop pulled up and told the trooper who i was.

i want to write a book called tales from the scoot or tales from the camps..

that woman is sober for 6 days as i type this..

I had a coworker shriek on the sidewalk in that way that only native New Jerseyans can shriek, "Oh my god, is that a (Edit)?"

Glad to see I'm not the only one with weird experiences and sounds like you do good work BrotherFrankie. People at work pick on me all the time and ask stuff like how long you been using the "(Other Pipe)". Also I was using my Provari with a stardust on top incase anyone was wondering how he noticed it (kinda hard to hide lol).

OH LOL I can just imagine the lady on the backseat ...with the (MODERATED) !
I have been pulled over by the police for numerous reasons amongst them...
.having an illegal stearingwheel.( there was none dont ask....) ...flipping the bird..(I had a really good reason )
.driving too fast (guilty)....driving too slow (seriously ?) ...Driving through a roadblock..(I had to get home..) And..actually got my car arrested because it had some issues with cleanliness (ok...it was an ashtrey on wheels )
And now I am really looking forward to being pulled over ...having to explain my "(edit)" ...good grief

I vape in my car all the time and if I'm on a long trip, I do it with some kind of mod with a DOD on top of it. It's a pretty strange looking set up and I never try to hide it. I've never had any trouble with law enforcement. I have gotten thumbs up from a few young men though.

Was down at my 'office' (local boat ramp) swappin' lies and swattin' flies while vaping on a Buzz Pro with a 5ml tank. Had an LEO come up and say, "I just had to stop to ask if I saw what I thought I saw!"

After a short explanation, he walked away with several ECF business cards.

People are so uninformed about ecigs. They think you are doing something illegal or controversial. Controversial is in the mind of the observer. Information is what the public needs. I've talked to a lot of people about ecigs and most of that was in response to questions about what my funny looking thing with the light on it was. Once I explain it, they almost always say, "I need to tell my brother in law and my dad about electronic cigarettes". I give them some website information and the ECF link and they walk away happy. I think the best thing that can happen for ecigs is for those of us who know encountering people who need to know what "that thing" is.

I don't normally troll, but I couldn't help after reading this thread. I made a thread about starting a Chuch of Tobacco. I think if we made a religion out of tobacco and got the government to recognize it, even as dumb as it sounds, people wouldn't be able to say as much, and it could be a big win

We showed ours to the local cops and enough people kept calling to complain about 2 people smoking in stores,lol small town, everyone knows your business lol

Haha, I do the exact opposite. When I see a cop coming up I start vaping up a storm just to see if he will pull me over. No luck yet
