Just wondering if storing BCC's upside down when not in use will prevent flooding. No liquid can leak out of the drip tip since the center tube is higher than the juice. Don't know if the wicks could dry out but if they did they would get wet again when screwed on a battery and a few non fired drags.

What do you think?

Well, I'm no scientist (obligatory disclaimer), but it seems as if that'd be no different than just not filling it for a while in terms of the wicks drying out. Know what I mean? If your wicks stop wicking, they've just outrun their usefulness. I don't think you'd lower their life expectancy by not having your wicks constantly saturated.

I store my protanks upside down for months now and have no adverse affects towards the coils, but a little juice does flow out the mouthpiece but not enough to bother with. I got some cheap dollar store sponges and took a 1/4 plywood and drilled a hole in it to use as a template. I squish the sponge with the plywood and drilled several nice clean holes into the sponge and use a old plastic playing card box to hold the sponge.
The pink sponge has the center cut out and its great to hold juiced up spent heads that need washing and/or rebuilding
