Stored Eliquid

How long does the eliquid last stored in a closet? Not sure if i should use it or just by new. I have been gone from here for awhile. I started smoking cigs again. Now i want to try and quit again and go back to my e-cigs. Thank you.

It should last for about 2 years stored out of direct light & in a cool place.

I still have some 20 month juice and didn't notice any degrade in color, consistency or in most important part - taste.
juice was stored in the basement in the shoe box.
