I thought I'd see all the _____fire batteries but the FANDYFIRE takes the cake! Some of the local stores will sell the plastic boxes and some give 'em away. Depends on the store.

Anyway, I like the plastic ones to carry the spares in my pocket.

Electrical tape gets messy with in no time with just body heat and will leave a sticky residue in your pocket.

And, for the sake of mentioning, policemen used to carry spare batteries in their pockets with bullets, and yes, occasionally a bullet would go off in the pocket. I can only imagine an officer explaining to his wife why they'd never have children of their own.

Only when I'm out with a 14500 mod do I need to carry any spare batts for my PV, but I do keep my batteries at home in the translucent plastic cases most of the vendors sell for different sized batteries and like the one linked to earlier in this thread by John_.

I do, however, carry some spare batteries for other devices required for my work. I have to have a couple of AA (14500 size), a couple of AAA (10440 sized), and at least a few 123a's. Also because of my work, they are best kept in the most durable sort of water resistant container possible. My 123's go in these. My AA's go in these. And my AAA's go in these. They aren't cheap, but they are durable, water resistant, corrosion resistant, and I can tie them to my gear so they don't get misplaced.
