Then crashed and died.

The witch having seeing this took pity on the poor guy and suddenly he was brought back to life broken and in pain...

James was in so much pain because his body being brought back from the dead was transforming getting bigger and stronger.

So he found where the Jolly green giant lived and kidnapped his sister as his bride.

James has other motives for kidnapping her, he believes she may hold the secret to help him get back to normal size but her beauty enchanted him.

and for awhile he forgot that he wanted to be normal sized

After taking her he realized what a sweet girl she was and he learned that other than her brother she didn't have anyone else in the world to love if he went back to normal size she would lose him too.
