poland, and the brassy lands of google
Curious box, it has a nice shape and the battery door is great. The slope is nice but leaves extra space some. Plenty of room for some caps on that 4050 though, you will get much better battery life with them on. I like the garnett coloring but stealth and sparkle are hard to sell together I'd say compact and attractive instead. That's OK though, my smallest has a super shiny SS protrusion, which could be a stealthier color.

There is 2 100uf caps on the 4050c chip . There is a etched PCB soldered on the 4050c which is the same size as the 4050 chip . You can see it if you look under it . The etched PCB has all the resistors and caps .Theres not much extra room in there either . All the space on the outside of te 4050 is where it tapers down and wouldnt fit anything anyway .

For the paint its actually more of a matallic but the camera picks up the grain of it a lot .

Ahh, are they SMD? I can't really see SMD anyways LOL. That cone/ connector is a nice touch too, forgot to mention. Is that something that was part of the case, and might I ask what was the case?

Yes 16v 100UF tantalum SMD caps . I only use SMD components for everything since i have them stocked for my business . The cone part is built into the case . I just lucked out that it fit the connector like a glove . I really didnt even need to glue the connector in . Screwing the case back together locks the connector in . My original plans was a touch switch but was having a issue trying to get the mosfet in there . The case is a wireless microphone receiver . I tried to find more but cant find them for under 30 bucks .

As for the paint its a bit less sparkley in person . Its more of a metallic but the camera picked up the grain of the metallic .
