After 2 weeks of e-cig use, using the original juice I bought (PG-based "desert ship", a tobacco flavor), I ventured out into the world of other flavors (and I'll never go back to tobacco!).

I am currently loving TV's Atomic Cinnacide, which I ordered mixed 65% PG, 35% VG.

I find myself getting the urge to cough on exhale, a few minutes after I've stopped vaping. Do you think it's from the cinnamon essential oil, or from the VG?

Thanks!

Almost certainly it is the cinnamon oil. Cinnamaldehyde is the primary flavor of hot cinnamon oil, and it is a known lung and skin irritant, and can also lead to mouth sores. Some people love to vape it with no problems at all, but some, like me, have to avoid it in our vapor due to coughing and general irritation.

And while it could be the VG too, VG in general does not cough nearly the irritation that PG does. I think this is straight up cinnamon.
