Strange...is this normal?

The last couple times that I've charged my eVic via USB I have noticed the temperature gauge flashing. At first I didn't know what it was so I downloaded the manual and figured it out. So last night when I was charging it I checked the temperature when the gauge was flashing and it said 114 degrees!!! I thought this was odd since the device wasn't hot or even warm. After its done charging, the gauge goes away. Anyone else experienced this?

also...make sure the whole on the bottom of the battery cap isnt covered so hot air can flow out

I personally set my alarm to a higher temp, 130 F if I recall, so I can use it while charging.

I have the same issue. I think its a firmware issue because it happens to me RIGHT when i plug it in. It does not even have time to get warm so I think its a software issue.
