Strawnila question

So I just received my strawnila and it has a nice vanilla flavor but no strawberry at all. So I was thinking maybe needs steeping, than I looke at bottle and the born date is 12/10/14 there for it's been steeping for exactly 4 months ,

Thank you for the device specific feedback. I'd recommend exactly what has been suggested... A different device, much lower wattage, etc...

Also true that taste is extremely subjective, but... It may take a little experimentation to make it work for your personal palate.

Wish I tasted the strawberry

I can't use more than a maximum of 30% PG, so in order to use the NT ones, I dilute them by using up to 20% in something like a Max VG crème brule or custard.

I can taste the Strawnilla and the Got Cookie really well using them that way. I also found it nice to mix the Got Cookie and Strawnilla together in the Max VG crème brule or custard.
I even have a Max VG strawberry with an extremely mild flavour, with 20% of the Strawnilla added it's terrific!

I don't use high wattage either - usually it's a mini Nautilus or a MOW tank on an iStick at around 6.5-7W

Hope you find a way to enjoy it and taste the strawberry.

The strawberry is well balanced with the vanilla for me, Aqua 2, 0.8 ohms for dual coils, 20-22 watts (ie - 10-11 watts per coil). Never felt the need to heat that juice a lot, though some others take it well.

I prefer my Strawnilla deeply steeped - try leaving the cap off overnight, shake it up and put it away for a week?

Don't give up yet! Ya just never know. And, in the end, it might just not be for you. I can't taste Raspberry so Raz Cupcake which I know is delicious, is lost on me no matter what I do with it. And, some Apricot juices taste like cedar to me. I can't figure it out, but I know I am not the only one, I have found a few others who have the same messed up buds as I do. Hang in there a bit longer and try a few things. Someone will trade you something else if it doesn't work out.

+1 on trying to let it breathe a bit without the cap. Oxygen GREATLY affects the stepping process.

Also, (for me) I lose the strawberry and get way more custard if I heat it too much. I prefer Strawnilla at about 10-12W. Easily one of the very best juices I've EVER tasted. I hope you find your sweet spot....it's just amazing stuff!!

Hmm I do 1.0-1.3 ohm coils at around 9.3 watts in my Erlkonigin I get plenty of vanilla and strawberry. Sorry for those it isn't hitting for. Hope you find the right wattage/ohms/gear to have it work for you.

Believe it or not I've have tried it in several different tanks/attys, even the sub ohm tanks and I keep coming back to the old iclear 30s on an itaste vv3 battery or on an istick. I get an awesome strawberry and creamy nilla flavor that puts a wonderful smile on my face whenrver I partake of it.

I'm using the Mutation x v3, but using single twisted 28g coil at .9-1.1 ohms (9-10 wraps) running at 20 - 25 watts. Kick the coil at an angle and find the sweetspot in airflow and you will love Strawnilla.

Twisted coils provide a much better flavor. All I use is twisted 28

When I first tried Strawnilla I was like "meh." Not much vanilla and even less strawberry. Dosed it with some Strawberry Symphony. Still underwhelmed. Put it in the vapocalypse box. Read this thread. Just finished Spring cleaning a bunch of tanks so I took out the Strawnilla, born 7/9/14. Filled a tank (Mini PT2). Popped it on a Vision Spinner II. Took a deep drag. My oh my oh my. GOOD STUFF!!! Guess it just needed to rest for a long, long time. Now I can't wait to try some of the other stuff marinating in the vapocalyse box. I think it might just turn out to be a tasty Summer.
