So your on a budget and don't see your vape budget buying enough to last as long as you need it to and DIY just isn't in your things to do.

If you own a dripper and want to vape close to 6mg/ml flavored liquid great; this might just be for you. Its not really DIY, its more a stretch method.

Walmart sells USP VG in 177ml containers, pull out a two old and empty 30ml bottles and fill them up with VG. Buy just two bottles of your favorite juice and this time buy 18mg/ml, you'll be mixing them into the 177ml bottle of VG.

You'll end up with a high VG juice perfect for dripping, close to 6mg/ml nicotine, and a softer version of your favorite flavor.

I landed on this trying to recover some high nicotine juice I wasn't using, I like the results very much. It isn't as cheap as 100% DIY, but the savings and results are nice enough to post it up.

...and a softer version of your favorite flavor.

Just wanted to emphasize that. But yeah, adding VG works well for some juices. You can also buy juice with a double shot of flavour (if the vendor has that option) and double your preferred nicotine strength so you can cut with VG.

The particular juice I found that came out better than in original form is a B&M offering that was just far stronger than it needed to be for my tastes. This particular shop caters mainly to the clearomizer crowd, and it seems their juice selection is always over flavored for anything other than that sort of device.

I have a young boy as well and simply keep my DIY activities for later on in the evening when he's asleep (well, in his room, supposed to be sleeping I guess!). I keep my supplies locked up (locked cabinet, locked box for juice/nic/flavorings). But diluting some juices is a pretty common thing here, I'm sure! I've even added a little menthol to some "unvapable" juices to rescue them (I'm looking at you crazy vanilla flavors!)

Good idea to stretch things but keep in mind the "flavor" and overall taste will be diluted as well. I still prefer pure DIY to change my nic levels but some of the stronger and more "robust" juices could use a little mellowing IMO. (Like JohnsonCreek).

I found that out the hard way , killed the flavor for me . Juice is so cheap to make for juice vendors and the profit is through the roof , i was told to buy 100 nic PG and add flavoring and VG till i get to my desired nic level , you will have juice till the end of time for super cheap $$.

In my area a 30ml bottle of eliquid will run around $15.00 at a local B&M, that's $0.50 per ml.

Walmart sells a 177ml bottle of Glycerine for $3.88, that's $0.022 per ml.

Premade to Glycerine = price, original mg/ml to new mg/ml,
1:0 cut = $0.500 per ml, 24-24, 18-18, 12-12, 6-6 (Full flavor)
2:1 cut = $0.340 per ml, 24&24-16, 24&18-14, 18&18-12, 18&12-10, 12&12-8, 12&6-6, 6&6-4 (Medium flavor)
1:1 cut = $0.261 per ml, 24-12, 18-9, 12-6, 6-3 (Half flavor)
1:2 cut = $0.181 per ml, 24-8, 18-6, 12-4, 6-2 (Low flavor)

The cut I mentioned in my first post was really close to the 2:1 cut, the liquid I used was DFW Vapor Thin Mint which remains clear enough for me at 1/3 its original strength as far as flavor goes.

This mess should be clear as mud...
