Hey Primer when you say your wanting them to hit hard. You can adjust the juice your use to help with that. Also your nic level. In regards to the chepo tank. I, like others have said, it's not the tanks fault that the cartos sucked. You have to remember that these are mass produced products. If you got your cartos from the same local vape shop maybe the cartos that they had were less then fantastic? What kind of cartomizer were they? Not the ohm's but who made them? I suggest getting some boge or smoktech cartos. For me they are generally good. I will on occasion have some that aren't great. That's just part of vaping cartos.
The vape experience you get from the carto tank is really dependent on how the carto performs. The tank just holds extra juice for the carto.
Just like your vivi nova. The one you have is working great and that's awesome. The reality is there is always the possibility that the person that bought a vivi nova before you got one and it sucks... You know those "extra parts" that you got? Those are coils. If you vape novas exclusively for some time you will eventually come accross a coil that sucks, it happens. Same thing goes for the clero that you have. They are a mass produced disposable product.
So try not to get frustrated, and I suggest not giving up on carto tanks. Maybe get one that isn't the cheapest tank set up available. There are many happy carto tank users out there that would cut your arm off if you took their tanks away. You just have to find a set up that works for you. As you try new things you will learn what you like and don't like.
Good luck
