hey again, so I had this idea this morning. if i wasnt such a cheap skate i'd throw this 100ml bottle out and go back to 60/40 with a tobacco based flavour. but no, im stubborn and sticking to my tropical flavoured 90/10 juice that i just bought last week.

i wonder if there's a way to strip the flavour from this juice. maybe even in the process, diluting the thickness of the 90vg?

i thought about boiling the juice. but i have no idea what that would do, so i wanted to ask here.

i have come to the conclusion that the irritation in my throat is no longer or maybe was never because of the vg itself, but the flavouring in this juice, because i dislike it so much, my body might be reacting to that dislike.

thanks for any help.

ps: i dont mind if i reduce the nicotine level in the juice by going through any process. its currently 6mg and i was going to switch down to 3mg my next purchase anyway.

Just add PG to it. It will dilute the flavor too. If you add the same amount of PG to it you'll end up diluting it to 3mg. Cut the VG down to half of what it started, which may be good or bad depending on what you want.

Dilute it like above suggestion and then fill your tank or 10 ml. bottle to 3 quarters full and then fill the last

quarter with your favorite tobacco flavored juice or whatever you desire.

by this time the undesirable flavor should be diminished down to almost unnoticeable levels......just my

thoughts............thetrucker-------------ps the reason for the tank or 10 ml bottle plan

is if it does not taste right you have only mixed 10 ml and not 40 gallons---you know what I

mean..........................

well, that all makes sense but i dont have any PG around. i'd have to buy it. and if im going to buy something new, im not going to bother with this current bottle know what I mean? im just going to move on and forget all about it hehehe

so i guess your suggestions are the only solution though right, because simply boiling my current liquid with water wont do what im looking for?

Since you don't have any DIY e-liquid supplies around your kinda stuck.

What I found to do with a juice when the flavor don't work for me. Fill up my tank and add a few drops of a potent flavoring such as , Pumkin' Spice --- Apple Pie --- Banana. This shifts the flavor in a whole different direction.

If you have any other flavored e-liquids, pick the one that has the strongest flavor and try a few (or more) drops mixed into your troubled juice.

You might invent a juice you really like. If you don't have any DIY supplies or other flavors, you can try adding what you can find around the house.

Thanks everyone, but Gahh you've really piqued my interest now. How would I use lemon or vanilla extract for example? Would I drop some in water, heat that up to fuse them, let it cool, then mix that in my tank/juice?

They would really need to be made for vaping. Most food type extracts are oils or alcohol based. It would need to be PG or VG based.

The eliquid discussion thread has a world of knowledge about mixing different things and what they do when you are done.

mix in small amounts sometimes in your favorite tank.. like a mini protank or something small and then if it tastes like

Grandpa's dirty socks or "worse" you are not out a lot of juice...................

Thanks thetrucker, i'll look there if I need more info. But for now, I have decided to take the distilled water approach and run with it by adding a few dry anise flowers in there (im including a pic to show y'all hehe). I'm currently infusing those on the stove and once it cools i'll try a bit with the juice and report back!

Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet <-- 4 of these flowers to .5L of water and we'll see how it turns out once done a slow boil.

Propelyn Glycol (PG) can be purchased nearly anywhere. Really cheap too. Just make sure it's USP grade.

I wouldn't toss the juice. You can always use it later. I've noticed over the 4 years I've been vaping that my taste has changed significantly from one month to the next. Plus you never know when you may need it. You may run out and need something to tie you over.

Just add a drop of lemon ( fresh squeezed or in a bottle ), shake and try it.

Any Vanilla extract you can find in the house will most likely be an alcohol based flavoring.
A drop or to will be fine, (some folks add Vodka to their juice.)

As for sweetener, I added a packet of Truvia to 50ml of some crappy coffee juice from fasttech.
[[ I was waiting on liquid sucralose ]]
Made it 60% better.
Truvia has a lot of filler products in the powder form, ( the one I had anyway )

As for the coils getting gunked up, I build my own, I will replace coil and or cotton as needed.

Nothing is made for vaping as far as e-liquid goes.
Everything used in e-juice was meant to be digested through the stomach , not vaped into the lungs.
